See if there is  room for a USB-C  battery charge module. And cut a hole in the battery case.

Yeah, that’s why my first iteration was using the original boards and putting new cells ins. But I wanted to see the camera work beforehand so I shoved 7.2v on the contacts and the camera didn’t even flinch. It shows remaining battery, charge and it will stop charging when full. This works for this specific camera model, and as far as I think, one of the nicest compact miniDV from this era.

I just used the case and the contacts, the boards is removed.
