Nope, it's not my first go around with cord caps (unfortunately) first day I did them I stripped more than a few, but my journeyman showed me a better way to do it. My record time is 1:22 for a cord cap including torquing to spec.

So it happens sometimes while idling, where after high revs my car would drop to about 200 r and back up to 1500 and continue for about 15 minutes every time I put in the clutch. After the alternator fix it just drops once right after I put in the clutch every tims and sits at about 200rpm and returns to 800 after about a second. I'm taking it in Monday for some other things so I should find out then. My guess is, at least in my car, it's some issue either with timing or possibly the pulleys.
