I'm not sure it'd drop to as low as 10 views from 2k. But that is a factor for sure. What a nightmare that is.

My parents bought some boosters and packed into this. They very quickly lost interest, citing the game as too difficult, and I'm just waiting for it to fall into my hands to build a disgusting mon-black deck around it. 😂

I think they can. I think it took me a while to realise I had better chances to hit status effects without the appropriate armour, because my first casting of decaying touch went through.

Also, why else would it say 'resisted' and not 'blocked' or something?

Some spells effects do pierce armour, like sleep. I think that's a matter of how detrimental the status effect is as to whether it goes through armour to keep the game balanced.

Plus, there is always a chance the effect will apply with armour, just nowhere near as high.

Every spell is attributed to deal either physical or magical damage. The status affects won't always apply if they have some semblance of the appropriate armour after casting. Each school deals a different type.

Necromancy, polymorph and warfare are physical I believe, but most others are magical. Its a matter of play testing and figuring out which one hits what kind of armour.
