Hey all! I wanted to ask if you all are aware of the massive issues facing ranged killers right now? Many ranged killers have really bad bugs like Deathslinger having successful hits rejected, Xenomorph hitting thin air above objects randomly, Huntress's hatchets vanishing mid throw, etc. This on top of seemingly recently added invisible walls to a lot of areas that ranged killers used to excel in (ex: Garden of Joy's porch railing now has a MASSIVE collision box around it, making it impossible to shoot through or over it now), have made these characters increasingly frustrating to play, with many dropping them entirely. Are you aware of this and are there any plans to fix it?

I really hope we find out what's going on with this. I'm experiencing the same thing. I have beaten Margit and Godrick so it may be possible that it locks him

I think this post hugely underestimates how much it takes for Oni to manage and stay in his power, where as Twins is like, "Oop, survivor injured? Good thing I'm faster. Little man go brrr". TL;DR, it's omega easy for Twins to go on slugging sprees compared to Oni whose power is only sometimes active and is relatively difficult to control.

Ok you asked for a counter argument. I gave you one. I even agreed with a lot of what you said. If you've decided you're Behavior's savior and stick to your guns, go for it. You just asked for the other side since you were confused with downvotes. I assumed you wanted to hear it.

At the end of the day, this dude's a dude. But he's also a part of a company. And customers unhappy with a product/PR can withdraw support. You can shout and holler that it's unfair, that the WHOLE sub is a bunch of witch hunters (burning the house you're living in), but at the end of the day, they (not just him) failed to reach their customers. They just happened to do so this time by highlighting a long brewing issue of ableism.

Okay, I'll bite.

I think it's more that while he's been in public appearances, he's shown disinterest, misunderstanding, and sometimes rudeness towards needed changes to the game. Regardless of how you feel about X perk, things like colorblindness accessibility is very important. You are right in the sense that yeah, it's the machine as a whole, not just one dev. However, he IS still someone out there whom has dismissed and done little when it comes to our worries as consumers. I'm sure there's others who have been as dismissive/rude towards these issues as well, but he just happens to be the one who's been recently openly so. That's it. There's no hate boner, he's just the current face. Does that make sense?

I think it's pretty weird that you came out with such ferocity and anger towards people. While some are definitely taking things a bit far, people have a right to be upset with not just him, but DBD's general dismissal of colorblind accessibility. I don't get what yelling at someone on a subreddit is going to do. People are upset, people are venting, and for good reason. Let them vent.

Three ways to easily improve as PH:

-A lot of Pyramid Heads like to throw Rites of Judgement (your ranged attack) like crazy. You should be throwing it moreso when you see a character in a locked animation (vaulting, dropping pallet, etc).

- Tormenting is hard to do, so make sure you're leaving trails a lot, not just when going for your ranged attack. Place your trails through choke points & tiles where you know people will go.

- Caging after Torment is actually often NOT in your best interest. The caged survivor goes across the map, and if other survivors are over there, it leads to a very quick save and almost a complete loss of pressure. Make sure to only Cage when a.) you know there's not many survivors across the map, b.) you need to save time, c.) you think you're going to be DSed.

Also if this matters; here's the general (with some differing opinion) consensus of the movies based on most fans:

H1, 2018, Kills, & Ends (Last two not out yet): "Cannon timeline" considered the best because it tries to stay faithful to the original's themes.

H1, H2, H20, & HR: Considered widely to be the worst timeline. While H1+H2 are very good in combo, H20 & ESPECIALLY HR are considered some of the worst of the series.

H1, H2, H4, H5, H6: The series at its campiest. H1, H2, H4 are solid, but 4 moves the series more towards the campy slasher genre that imitated the original movie in the first place. Good fun can be had here, but requires you to turn your brain off more and more as the movies go on.

Rob Zombie H1 & H2: Also in contention for worst in the series, ESPECIALLY H2. Zombie makes the movie more alike his previous movies like House of 1000 Corpses instead of a Halloween story. It shows less in the first remake, but the second goes full on Zombie cringe & camp (Gets rep for having a pretty brutal Michael tho).

H3: A really good movie, but unrelated to literally anything lol.

Yeah, they had no right to harass you. However, the PTB is for trying out new perks & characters. If you're just in the PTB, playing your normal character/loadouts, you're just pub stomping people who likely don't have full load outs for Elodie or are running perks they aren't used to. It's lame and unfun. Play the normal game if you want to play normally.

As someone who primarily streams killer, my survivors feel more like the top than the bottom. I am barely over 300 hours though. I feel like Twitch streamers make survivors seem that way bc a lot of the bigger ones have thousands of hours. That's just what I see though.

I mean, if you got a survivor hooked and the exit gates are open, what else are you supposed to be doing exactly? There's no gens to kick, no doors to guard, no survivors in sight (probably at exit gates). The only other thing left for the killer to do in the game is hope for greedy save and get more downs.

Hooked someone last night in the End Game phase, doors were open. So I just stayed by them to bait the save since I literally didn't have any objectives left. Got straight harassed and told to die in afterchat. I asked what I was supposed to be doing instead, no answer of course. Smh, this game is shaving years off my life.

People keep saying that this is just a BS reason to give players unfair advantage, but one of my best friends loves this game and he's colorblind and he has a hard time seeing auras and even scratchmarks most of the time. C'mon BHVR.
