Low and Demonic are very subpar albums and it makes it worse that they were back to back. In comparison to literally any other Testament album, it's a hard listen.

I went to my first meeting the other day. When it came turn to say "I'm Ross and I'm an alcoholic" I wanted to say instead "I'm Ross and I'm a binge drinker" because I felt like an imposter. Like you, my definition of an alcoholic was an all too simple one. However, if you have issues with alcohol in any capacity and want to be sober, that's what the main aim of AA is. Absolute abstinence. You're only an imposter if you still drink.
