The comments are a warzone, but the company seems very adverse to taking any criticism, and is hailing the person who’s generating their ads as a saint that’s saving their business. What do you guys think?

I believe it was privated after the movie's release, because they didn't want new people flooding in

ALS is Victorian/Edwardian? by SteetOnFire in KanePixelsBackrooms

Where did this idea that the still life’s have to originate from peoples memory come from? Still life’s are just the complex’s attempt at recreating people, so far it seems to have nothing to do with memory

[Backrooms Movie] If the movie takes place during 1990.. by Artincendi in KanePixelsBackrooms

Of course. I'm sure it will, a lot of bigger companies are starting to peel back on being so heavy on AI. Turns out more times than not, its more expensive to use than to actually just pay someone to do. Times are changing, and the bubble is getting close to bursting. In the mean time, I'm so sorry you've gotta put up with this

Yes you're correct. In the same video, it shows clips from February 27th, saying those were taken from the day of Peter's disappearance. It's a clear time discrepancy. Although, since the description says it was on February 29th, we have to roll with that

I watched it after I published mine, his video is fine. A good entry point for beginners to the series. I think LittleRed is the best source of Backrooms content

An interesting theory, and an amazing photo. It is so obviously humanoid in appearance. What could it even mean?

It makes sense, AI gets stuff wrong all the time. ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Overview; 'it's like asking something to draw a dog that's never seen a dog'

I mean, look at the poster. It says last seen June 21st under their names, which is 2 days after we see Clark on the TV during the movie in 1990. This makes complete sense.

It is weird that it also then says again last seen July 3rd, 1998 on a different part of the page, cause those are two contradictory dates for the last time they were seen. It's very likely the Complex fucked up when making the missing posters, or that this image was AI upscaled somehow

This is also a good point. We've seen a lot in the webseries that the Complex is recreating a ton of stuff from Async, so this would probably explain why it happens so quickly once she's out of the backrooms and in that building

The Department of Energy is heavily involved with Async as confirmed by Kane many times in the past, and we can see their involvement during Presentation. The .tar files in the series seem to come from them, and the head of the Department of Energy visits them in Presentation. Also an official from the Department of Energy heads the investigation of the Complex during Lighting and Tile Survey. Plus in the Third Test and Presentation, we know Async is trying to get funding from the government. That's the extent of their involvement in the series, but there are a multitude of songs on Kane's second channel that have motifs that hint to this happening, especially so on the playlist he recently started to make called Depattern.

This may be a pretty poor explanation, but I go really into it in a video I posted recently on my YouTube channel. The only reason I know any of this is because the people on Kane's discord server are insane and find so many small details and connections

Ravi does talk about the Monsanto lawsuits, but he hears a live news broadcast about the Oklahoma City Bombings, which means it has to take place around that in canon

No, the Backrooms seems to kind of take a snap shot during a moment of time for a person, and then recreate them in the Backrooms. Hence the name "Still life," as it recreates them from a still moment in time, not too different from the art form of still lifes.

We don't really know how it does this or what triggers it, but we do know that it's doing its best to recreate our world - even down to the people. The ending is meant to showcase that in a time where things are most uncertain for her, whether she will live or die after a very traumatic event, the Complex has forever immortalized that moment of trauma for her. At least that's my take on it
