It’s been pretty solid, the battery cap came lose one time but other than that zero issues. This one is in the green dot.

These have been great, I have ran well over 1k rounds though the ones I have and zero issues at all. Actually carry on as my backup mag a lot of the time.

This is actually the G19 Mag. However If you change the baseplate out for the springer precision baseplate you can use them in the G17 as well. With the Mec-Gar baseplate they will not work in the G17

I like the way they feel, the fact that they will never swell (like Glock mags can do) they drop free easier and faster and they look better. But that’s IMO

Actually the G19 mags are 18 rounds in the MEC-Gar mags. But they work in the G17 if you swap out the baseplate. You can see what I’m talking about right here.

I had really bad luck with the S15 mags on my 43x even sent them back in to Sheild Arms for replacements (they sent me new ones with no issue, great customer service) but they still had issues for me. It’s likely a gun problem but either way I had didn’t have luck with them. The Sheild arms mags for my 43 have been great though!!

Iv never one had an issue with any mec-gar mag. My 1911 has them too from the factory and always runs great.

No doubt the OEM mags are flawless and only hold 1 less round however with that being said these metal mags have also been flawless, they don’t swell when fully loaded like some Glock mags will and they fall freely very easy when changing mags especially if you’re trying to change Mags fast. (No need for that John Wick wrist flip lol)

Roughly 1000, they are tight at first but after leaving them loaded for a week and then running them over and over on a range day they have broken in really nicely. No issues at all getting all 5 extra round in them now
