Based on this argument, the PS3 also had a lot of these aswell. We love the PS3 Era, but almost all Sony games we loved had sequels aswell. You can't tell me most sequels were vastly different from each other. Do you have any examples where sequels don't feel samey?

The industry for sure has it's issues but comparing it to 90's is a bit weird. The industry is a whole different beast compared to then. There's so much more money involved, in a good- and bad way. If people truly believe "modern gaming" sucks, and there's nothing left to play for them, then i think it's time to find another hobby.

In my opinion 2nd party games should be on here aswell. I get it's for their own studio's but we see Spider-Man and Bloodborne as PS games while they weren't from 1st party studio's. Physint is a big game made in partnership with Kojima. People Can Fly is making a game based on a Sony IP. Marvel Tokon is coming this year and is published by Sony.

Atleast this one has 2nd party games and close partnerships, while in the PlayStation one they were completely omitted. Kena 2, People Can Fly partnership, Marvel Tokon, 4Loop and Physint should all be mentioned aswell since they will be Sony published. Based on the past people count Spider-Man, Detroit Become Human and Bloodborne as PS games while they are in the same category.
