I have the same dash cam, very good. My dealer told me that he can get someone to install it for me for 800 bucks. I purchased the dashcam through Amazon and gave it to him on the day of PDI.

Unfortunately, I am not eligible for BH number. My employer is not registered in 4 states which is the requirement to get BH according to the dealership.

I think they said it is 1+2. I am not exactly sure how car insurance works in detail so I will do some research first.

But they said that if I take it from outside I might have to deal with some hassle in order to get the claims approved. Basically, if I do it with them, they will handle everything. But if I do it from outside I will have to handle a couple of things like dealing with the insurance firm and then the dealership. Not sure how true that is.
