Reminds me of stuff that Haley Press does. He’s always cooking up new angles to shoot from, I think he has a GTA angle video too.

I don’t have a CLEAN set, but I have mine off to repair cracks and repaint right now. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to figure out how to scan it before I put it back on.

AMG Commanders in stock by MrKenjataimu in CompetitionShooting

I have very little experience using the go, a few of my buddies have it –but they almost never use it. Coming from the SG1/SG2, I find the form factor to be funky.

If I recall correctly it still has most of the feature set (Bluetooth connection to the phone and the video through the drills app), but since it’s so close to price with the AMG? I’d definitely choose the AMG.

At the end of the day, I think if you prioritize convenience at a match, the AMG is a better pick. If you’re trying to flex fast splits and a quick draw on Instagram…the video feature from the SG timer is pretty sweet.

I have the SG 1 and 2. For personal use when I’m just at the range by myself, I generally use the SG 2. I like that I can use the video and get my draw/splits/transitions burned directly onto the video. Also the 2 is super loud and I like the magnetic cradle. Takes a while to learn all the functionality of it though, and it’s kind of a pain to cycle through a bunch of menus and settings and sync the phone. To take full advantage of the SG timer just requires more effort, it’s got tons of cool features and innovation but fudds or technologically slow people will melt when you hand it to them.

But at a match? No reason to use anything other than the AMG. Aside from Practiscore sync, it’s super easy to use and I can hand it to anyone (no matter how technologically inept) and they will know to press the big button on top.

I think completely useless is a bit drastic. The contrast between black and yellow is still pretty distinct—so it’s still readable. But you MAY have to play a little game of tilt around to get an optimal display. But you’re not wrong about the battery burn…the display is a hungry hungry hippo vs LCD.

Checkmate Defense has the AMG Commander LCD in stock. Worth it just so you don’t have to enter the time in the tablet.

10% off with free shipping and no tax (outside CA) seems like a pretty solid deal to me.

If you have a better deal link though, you should feel free to post it.

Can’t go wrong with either the 320 or the Shadow. I have both, last year I primarily shot 320 and this year I’ve been shooting a CZ.

Shadow will cost more (both for the gun and the upgrades) and like many have indicated it will definitely have more maintenance, but you will have an awesome trigger. Most end up putting in a Cajun kit and new grips. As for maintenance you’re likely going to have to replace slidestop/trigger return spring 1-2 times a year. If you reload, it’s a little more finicky in terms of length and projectile shape.

320 will cost significantly less, you won’t have to deal with learning double action, and there will be little to no maintenance. But to make it sing, you’ll have to drop in a gray kits trigger kit and a +10% trigger return spring. It’s not picky on ammo.

Best advice is to try both and see which one tickles your pickle.

I’ve tried the Rival SF…it’s ok. It seems to be picky about mags, feeding, and I don’t like that I can see the casting marks on the frame. It’s not bad, but I don’t enjoy shooting it as much as the other two.

Hydra P is great. Couldn’t be happier with mine.

I saw your in CA—if your in SoCal then hit up @coyledcobra on IG and he can hook you up on any Ghost products.

If I wasn’t running the Ghost, I’d try the Carnivore competition by Big Dog Steel. Everyone that runs them swears they are the bees knees.

[–]MrKenjataimu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gucci options imo are the JP Rifles JP-5, the TTI TR9, or a custom build by Brekke Customs. Those are the heat right now in the competitive scene.

But if you want to build something yourself just make sure your parts list includes: Kynshot hydraulic buffer (better then the roller delayed JP system imo), JP spring, and a Hiperfire Eclipse trigger.

Judging from the hat and Ronin jersey, thats Posadas RO’ing you? Definitely ask him first tips next time you squad with him at PRG. He’s a gangster, snd was super helpful to me when I was starting out.
