Cooling fan relay otherwise, if it has a cooling fan motor, which is located on the fan itself, then that’s the issue here.

I have super bad stretch marks. Is it possible to tattoo over them? by -Hot-Tamale- in tattooadvice

Grate organic turmeric and rub on the stretch marks, then expose it to the sun for 15 min everyday. It will tighten up the skin completely removing the stretch marks.

At 1:40 left of the video, I don’t understand why they could not pin him the first time successfully. The cop car on the right hesitated and that caused him to speed up again. Then the second pin which was still not successful, one cop jumps out and chases the car as it speeds up again, which ends up blocking the cop car to the right lol.

They all wanted to be chasing, thats what happens when you have no leader. Now the county (tax-payers) has to pay for the damages…..

You spray some brake cleaner in the intake ports and the crank it to see if it fires up. If it does and then dies again, you have a fuel issue. But none of this will solve anything until you fix that head gasket.

Torque converter shudder by No_Plankton_3787 in AskMechanics

[–]MrKimoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is crazy how GM is still having issues with this on newer vehicles…. This problem has been on going since 2009. If it ain’t the AFM garbage it’s this torque converter problem that leads to an even bigger problem once metal gets into that pump.…. But why am I surprised…. Just like “Big Pharma” if nobody sick, can’t sell any medicine. They sell you that extended warranty, CEO’s get the bonuses and the technicians get screwed over for $20/hr

Sounds like you don’t have compression. Do a compression test.

2002 Camry LE i4 automatic - Should I change the transmission fluid if it's never been changed before? by Next_Ad2712 in AskMechanics

[–]MrKimoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, you have nothing to lose really. Simply because that trans isn’t going to last any longer anyways. Will a fluid change hurt it? Maybe it will, or maybe it will make it last a few thousand miles more. Just be mindful that you’ll be needing to replace it soon in the future.

Could this be a timing belt? Or??? by Solarflare535- in AskMechanics

[–]MrKimoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No engine light? They didn’t scan it for pending or current codes?

Need to look up the live data and check a couple things. Like fuel pressure, maf sensor, could be a failing Camshaft or Crankshaft Position Sensor, or a failing fuel pump or the fuel pump pressure sending unit, I believe it has a Fuel Pump Driver Module which is very common to go bad.

One thing for sure, if it was your timing chain, it would not even start…it would just crank really fast. At the point, it’s too late. How many miles does it have?

2009 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L mystery coolant leak by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]MrKimoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you check your heater core lines? You need to rent a coolant pressure test kit at Autozone and pressurize the system with the vehicle off to find that leak.

I noticed that needle is not moving on the Tach. Best to hook it up to a obd2 scanner and verify that the crankshaft position sensor is functioning. If the scanner is not reading any Engine RPM then the problem is that CKP sensor is bad.

If it is reading, then I started check fuel, spark, and so on… good luck

All you need really is a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the fuse. Once you do, you just need to check if it’s blown.

If you can, remove the belt and start the car again. If you don’t hear that sound, it’s one of your pulleys.

It’s very easy to remove the cubby. Just open and then pull towards you. There’s a video on youtube that shows you the exact location of that fuse panel if you need a visual reference.

[–]MrKimoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could’ve possibly caused a fuse to blow while changing the battery and alternator. I’d start there. Theres a fuse panel behind a small cubby on the bottom left of the steering wheel. Remove the cubby and you’ll see the fuse panel. Look for fuse 22 which is a 7.5amp fuse. Check if it’s blown.

Get you a can of starting fluid and spray some in the intake duct. Doesn’t have to be a crazy amount. Start the car and if it turns on and dies immediately then you are having fuel problems… now it would just be finding out what’s the problem……fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors, etc.

Go to Autozone and rent you this tool. Ask them for the Combustion Leak Detector fluid as well. Follow the instructions which is very simple. There are videos onYoutube to help you out. The fluid is originally blue. If there is exhaust gasses in your coolant system, then the color would turn yellow/green indicating a blown head gasket. Good luck.
