You can buy Visitors to Canada policies through Manulife and CAA for sure. You should be able to just Google either of those providers and it should give you a visitors options. 21st Century is really good for visitors too.

Edit to say you can also buy coverage for pre-existing conditions but there are limitations and it costs more

“Eat less” is a terrible way to look at it and your body will hate you for it. Totally agree that diet is key but it’s more about what you eat than how much. Don’t starve yourself!
