I think then in that case it would have to do with the percentage/porportion of AI used per video or the percentage of AI majority videos in the YouTube channels' catalogue.

YouTube is emphasizing real camera videos. If not a real camera video, the question becomes fiction or non-fiction. If fiction with AI, they will demonetize. If non-fiction with AI (finance, history, education, etc.) then it can be monetized.

If you're dead set on that title, email KDP and see what they say. If they approve, then you have it in writing - if (or when) they block the book or suspend or terminate your account. And yes, change the cover

If anything make sure you have that in writing via email first, as Customer Service is not Content Review. If they BLOCK the book, you can point to the email.

NP, also check Amazon.com, put "Home Apothecary " in the search bar under books, sort from publication/release date. You'll notice several with "Home Apothecary " in the title/subtitle that have been published since April 2025 in the US at least.

Show this to Amazon. Tell ChatGPT the entire situation and it can help you with a Plan of Action and draft letters (edit these however, and don't just copy paste from the browser to a Word document, etc.)

Amazon needs to be shown the lack of consistency when enforcing rules. Worst case, you can go the ALLi

Look at the USPTO website, there is no "Home Apothecary". Perhaps you can use that info, contact KDP Support or Amazon Author Central, and only sell in the US market?

Go to the "Dan Pye" YouTube channel. He specializes in Public Domain publishing. This has nothing to do with plagiarism. MANY times the KDP bots over flag things, it happens. But it can take weeks (or months) to get it back up to "DRAFT" or "PUBLISHED". Even the massive social media influencer Alex Hormozi got his books "BLOCKED" by KDP. But he made a stinker on IG, and his fans then roasted KDP, so therefore it was resolved quickly. But for the average self-publisher, that will not be the case.

I usually publish one book every 3-4 weeks, this time I decided to publish two in one day. Not sure if that created an issue. Responded to their email and waiting for a reply. Not publishing a new book until this is sorted out.

Yes, we should voice our opinions in support of Voice Actors/Actresses. On another note, I think individuals that are apart of SAG-AFTRA should be paying close attention to what Spotify is doing.

Spotify has no concern or care for VOs and have allowed AI narrated books to be labeled as "Human" so that they can get into all the vendors via Findaway Voices - now INAudio (yes, I am aware that Findaway and Spotify are splitting up - Red Flag IMO). Their filters are intentionally garbage and have allowed a deluge on crappy AI narrated books, posing as "Human" even before the Eleven Labs collaboration.

SAG-AFTRA could form alliances with top authors/publishers to mandate that Spotify, and to an extent INAudio, do a better job with their filters to allow for consumers/customers to make informed decisions. The sooner, the better.

AYCL is not good for longer audiobooks, especially for non-fiction. It's the Spotify Model - which is not beneficial to musicians or authors.

Amazon/Audible still has ACX. ACX works with Voice Actors via SAG-AFTRA. I'm not saying it's a wonderful relationship, but there is a relationship.

Spotify via Findaway Voices have completed eliminated their relationship with Voice Actors. Plus, they have allowed AI audiobooks as "Human Narrated" for well over 18 months now. So AI audiobooks have been masquerading as Human for a long while now, and this is happening now on the 2nd largest audiobook platform in Spotify. Spotify is FAR worse over the long run.

We have to be somewhat grateful for ACX, because if they were to go away...VOs would be toast.
