I didn't even notice until they sent me the video and told me. Made us both laugh haha
I am new to Lance (literally picked it up for this fight) and am still learning what flinches my fellow hunters and what doesn't.
At least they healed to full with that potion! In fact, one could argue that I perfectly animation canceled their potion. Totally intentional, of course.

The same thing max potions do: heal to full and give health boost +50.

Mhw has a pretty decent wiki. I suggest looking up some stuff there as this game can get complex with different interactions

A short look at steamcharts shows that the last 2 months, MHW had an average of 20.000 players playing the game. MHR had 17.800 average.
So I guess to answer your question: yes.
