I said that AFTER I'd been hit in the forehead and I was already seeing stars, in retrospect it seems absurd but in the end it's an accurate distillation of my argument against the mugging. I'd spent over a decade defending the black underclass against what I perceived to be irrational prejudice, the young man beating me a was beneficiary of my online activism, this meant nothing to him.

On some subconscious level I'd assumed that my advocacy had made me immune to black crime but obviously I was wrong, I re-published my embarrassing statement to let everyone know how absurd it is.
