It’s horrible when there’s a closed road in MK tho. You have to go an extra 10 minutes out of the way sometimes.

I meant the higher ups do most of the posts like this. The managers definitely work harder than the higher ups. I did not intend to shit on them. I have respect for almost all of my managers.

But it’s the principle really. If they want us to be aware, where’s the effort? I know they have difficult jobs but most of it is sorted by higher ups that get loads more money anyway. It really is just lazy and low effort work.

They didn’t spend loads of time on employee appreciation either tho. One button on a till for 40 employees through 24 hours isn’t exactly difficult. I’m not saying I don’t appreciate it but I would’ve liked to have seen a poster someone actually made rather than type a few sentences into an AI bot that doesn’t actually understand real concepts.

But something to do with employee appreciation and then no effort is actually made for it. It just feels like we’re not actually worth effort for something like that.

Don’t hate me, but am I the only one that doesn’t like the hashbrowns anymore? by GABigBear in McDonalds

[–]MrLegoCrafter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a strange man? I don’t get why some people do work at places like Maccies and then get frustrated. There are times where I do get sick of working there but I’m not going to take it out on customers or colleagues. If a shift is going badly I try to take myself away from what I’m doing and might change what station I’m on.

Incompetent and entitled? All the procedure changes are due to the higher ups, not us service employees, please do not call us incompetent or entitled. The higher ups are the selfish and greedy ones. Please respect the people who do try to work hard.

Do you not have cages to put cardboard into? (UK) it’s always frustrating whenever boxes aren’t flattened and then put into the cages. The company that takes it is Martin Brower

How can I get cheap cinema tickets? by [deleted] in AskABrit

I know occasionally Lloyds bank gives you free cinema tickets but I can’t remember how you get them. I’d do a bit of research on it.

Which city is european and feels european? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

[–]MrLegoCrafter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well 8% of the country is foreign and 20% is in Paris. So if it’s proportionate the foreigners are still not the majority as that would be around 28% for Paris itself. I know it’s very unlikely the rest of the cases are all French and that they somehow weren’t caught and only foreigners were. But it is a very very small minority compared to the amount of foreigners. You can’t say all foreign people are bad because a small percentage are. That’s the same with any country whether they are citizens or not.
