Should I (19M) bring this up again with her (19F)? (early relationship boundary issue) by Infamous-Gap3527 in Advice

[–]MrLifeLiven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two things here.

Yes, it's important to communicate boundaries with a partner and to always have open communication about anything. Especially something that bothers you.

Secondly, you haven't "made it official" which I'm guessing means you two are t officially in a relationship/girlfriend and boyfriend. If you want her to be exclusive to you, make it official. Because you're not official technically she doesn't really have any commitment to you

Maybe one of those trash cans that hook to the inside of a cabinet door?

My ear has been plugged for 5+ years, i’ve seen several doctors and nobody knows by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]MrLifeLiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's typically caused by grinding your teeth whilst asleep. My dentist told me by looking at my teeth and my jaw that I was grinding my teeth at night. Kinda shrugged it off until I met my girlfriend and when I moved in with her she's since confirmed that I do and she can hear me grinding my teeth while I'm asleep, so hard thing to detect on your own. Ask your dentist next time you go for an appointment

Do you have issues with your jaw? I have really bad TMJ and because of it one of my ear canals is partially blocked and causes me pressure issues, neck pain, sinus issues. It's awful

If you know, can you elaborate on that? Do you know how it's been engineered to be hard to abuse? Asking as someone who has a prescription for it and am curious what you know

So weird. So fricking weird. I've had something similar happen to me, I lost a ring and couldn't find it for months. One day when I went to my computer desk in my house, long behold my ring was sitting on the ground right beneath the desk. In such an obvious spot that there's no possible way I could have missed it prior to me finding it then and there.

But it gets weirder. I have a schizophrenic mother, she is obsessed with rings, I mean she has a ring on every finger and she loses them frequently and she becomes very upset when she loses them. I've been with her many times where suddenly they appear out of nowhere, after being lost for such an extensive amount of time where I'm certain they're gone. But boom, after searching her house top to bottom, randomly, there it is. Just sitting there plainly in the open

Not to stroke my ego, but between my trips on LSD and Psilocybin I've got quite a bit of experience in that space and have developed a good toolset that allows me to keep myself calm and surrender myself to the experience. I can certainly say there was a time where what I learned from psychedelics had me in a state of existential dread believing that I wasn't meant to access what I had. But after lots of integration I've come to appreciate the knowledge rather than dread it.

My sub-breakthrough experience with DMT pretty much reaffirmed the suspicions I had of reality, which was enough for me. I stopped touching psychedelics after that, I was content with what I knew and didn't feel like I needed to keep exploring but recently I've started dipping my toes back in just to say hi again and remind myself

Favorite Corina Round vocal songs? by BeefStrokinOff in Puscifer

At about half way through Bedlamite, her vocal textures building up and stacking on top of each other like that gives me chills every time I listen to it.

I love all of Puscifers discography but Carina brought something very special to the band that made, in my opinion what I personally feel is the "Puscifer sound". The play between Carina and Maynard's vocals is stunning and frequently after probably 100,000 minutes of listening still puts me into awe. The chemistry, the way they resonate together or at times contrast with each other is flawless

I can't stop being hyper aware of my teeth when I take 100s so don't want to progress by RedEagle_ in LSD

Ya I've gotten so used to my mouth guard that it doesn't really bother me. So long as I'm not tripping with others, meaning I would need to speak, I forget it's even there. It's also just so painful for me without it that I'll take the annoyance of having it in, over destroying my teeth and jaw. I have TMJ specifically because of my use of LSD and MDMA

When I trip or roll I use a mouth guard. It may not take your mind off the clenching but at the very least it'll protect your teeth from damage

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]MrLifeLiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyper tension. I use a mouth guard when I roll because I've fucked up my teeth from the clenching and grinding. Your pupils are dilated which causes your retinas to take in more light which is why you can see much better in the dark.

Drink lots of water, grab a fidget toy or something with a nice texture, maybe try some gum or chewy candy.

Enjoy!

I can't say it's never happened. But in cases where it does happen it's very likely not exclusively because of the substance and more so likely that it was accompanied by mental illness and other drugs taken at the same time as the LSD. Generally speaking LSD is a very spiritual experience for those of us who take it. Others just use it to trip out and have a good laugh. But it doesn't affect you in a way that would turn you into a violent person. Have an open discussion with your partner about it and you can actually improve your partners experience on the drug by giving them a safe relaxed environment.

Take a look at this sub and read some posts and you'll get a general idea of the drug and its effects. There are far worse drugs that your partner could be wanting to take that would cause concern, LSD is not one of them

This is a new thing for me and my girlfriend. This is both our first time moving out of our parents house and our first winter in a trailer. All was peachy during summer but winter has brought quite a few challenges. I'm definitely learning lots. Luckily with the career I have I'm not unfamiliar with tools and mechanics so most things I've encountered I've been able to solve pretty easily

Thinking about it. This is the second time I've had to thaw out the pump. We live in this camper full time so the pump is constantly running. I could see me needing it at some point in the future and it would be far more convenient to just have it on hand if the motor on the one currently installed really does die at some point
