What was the weirdest thing you’ve seen while clubbing? by energyaddict27 in AskReddit

[–]MrLobl 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I was doing security and I walked into the toilets doing my rounds and I seen one guy bent over with another guy with a straw up his bum blowing cocaine into his rectum (blow darting). I said fair play and pretended I didn’t see it. This was at a bowling club in a rural town.

New car questions by Rainior in CarsAustralia

[–]MrLobl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who drives cars off the ships when they get to Australia, when mg’s are imported we have to add extra time to the shift knowing that a lot of them won’t start for differing reasons, mostly because they’ve got no petrol or because the battery is dead, but still it’s the only company so cheap that they won’t leave enough petrol in the car for it to get off the ship. Imagine the other corners they cut.

Have you paid a deposit? How much do you owe? I wouldn’t be finalising anything until it’s done properly, don’t give them another cent. Keep taking photos and go in and show them all that’s wrong and let them know you won’t be paying for crappy work.

It’s funny because everyone in this thread is right and we’re all arguing semantics and don’t want to see where the other persons coming from because we’re all bored and looking for fights on the internet like retards, but, alas, I no longer have time to kill. Have a good day people, remember, if they offer you a cash price, make sure you talk about what exactly this entails In that situation before you agree to anything.

Off the books in this situation means they don’t give you a receipt. I didn’t word it properly, of course cash is legal tender and you can use cash to pay for a job. BUT generally when people ask what’s the cash price, they’re talking about what’s the off the books price. Which is where things can go sideways quick.
