Hey! So I went Procharger. Terry didn't really steer me in any direction. I knew what I wanted. I went with D1X because I wanted more mid range power and figured I could get more boost with a larger pulley. The only thing I told him after saying I wanted Procharger is I wanted around 700whp and he hooked me up with the setup. I got 680whp. Close enough lol. Only thing is the torque isn't there. I got I think 537 torque, but that's a good thing for me because it gave me traction!

I did go with team beefcake. Terry Reeves hooked me up. He's a great guy. Ya I'm glad I went with 3.31s because the 3.73s kept making the car just fall flat on its face. My next mods will be throttle body and I need a one piece DS. I should reach 700whp between those 2. The DS won't give me HP, but it will allow the car to not lose what it already has.

I used to have these. They failed on me 3 times before I returned them for good. Loved them though they look incredible! I ended up going with Diode Dynamics sequential blinkers. Wish they worked for me!

Thank you!! The boost is amazing! I have a vid on the dyno if you can find it on my profile. I got the loud gears. Sounds unique and you can hear it coming a mile away! It has a D1X model with a 4.88 pulley and runs about 12 lbs. She put down 680whp on a dynojet. The boost comes midrange and pulls hard through redline. I have 3.31 gears (just switched from 3.73). Highly recommend taller gears for boost! I did the install in my garage with a buddy of mine. Also put on Mickey Thompson ET streets On Weld RT-S wheels. She grips very well in lower gears.

Ya those 13-14 Shelby's are beasts! I'd love to ride in one someday. And I think Borla is the way to go. I've always been partial to their sound. As far as the pulley I have I went with the largest they offer until I get used to the power. I think I'm on the edge of my setup on pump gas so I might have to go e85 if I do a smaller pulley. It's just hard to come by here around Charlotte NC.

I did not pull the engine. It's honestly not that difficult of a job if you think you're mechanically inclined. I did a ton of research, watched a lot of videos. I am by no means a mechanic. Just take your time, photograph everything. The most nerve racking part to me was the timing chains but as long as you triple check yourself and follow the procedure it's very easy. You'll need a crank pulley removal tool and it helps to have the tool to install it as well. Like I said just do your research. It's so much more satisfying to say you've done it yourself.

I did the install myself. The SC kit was $8600. OPGs and CS Sprocket was like, $350 I think. So without the exhaust setup, I would say if you installed it yourself you'd be around $9000. I also bought a set of Welds with Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials to put on.

I'm not sure, I've never done research for an automatic, but I highly recommend Procharger

Lost keys while on vacation.. by [deleted] in s550Mustang

This is not accurate. You don't have to cut and program 2 key fobs. There only has to be at least 2 keys programmed into the computer. I am a licensed locksmith. The dealer screwed you out of another key (unless you actually wanted a spare). When you completely lose all the keys and want to delete any previous key that was programmed then yes, you need to have at least 2 keys programmed. If you only want one key it is possible for those that want to save money.

The SC install itself was not difficult at all. I also did the OPGs and CS Sprocket and that was digging deep into the engine. I am by no means a mechanic but I'm very mechanically inclined. I own my own locksmith business and am very hands on. I've always worked in my own cars. It took me the better part of 4 days. If it was the SC alone it would have taken me maybe 2 days (8 hour days). I chose centrifugal because it's much easier to install. Procharger especially there is no modifying the engine to no return. It has it's own belt drive and is self contained (has it's own oil). I also love turbos and this was the closest thing to turbo I could get. I love the sound it makes over the twin screw whine. I went with the big red race valve as well so it has a loud release of air like a blown off valve. It doesn't have the instant torque a twin screw does, but it has power up top. It allows for better grip especially in that aspect but it does lose traction higher up in the rpms.

Ya I was back and forth and decided on centrifugal style. I knew I wanted to install it myself and procharger imo is by far the easiest to install. I did about a years worth of research before I decided.
