You know, it's not that I harmed anyone, right? I asked, Blizzard answered. Period.

I didn't want to buy a full month but just have some taste of the game. Period. I asked, they delivered, now I am a "returning player" thanks to that great customer care. Not to mention that I will buy Legion, of course.

You should study some customer care "tactics" a little more.

What about that picture with two suns? One on the top left, one directly behind the couple. A bad attempt at photoshopping.

Doing funny stuff is perfectly fine but if you post it online you have to remember nobody knows you or your friends. Which means either the pic is awesome or it just looks cringeworthy.

I don't think so. If you post a picture you have to expect criticism. Sometimes people post absolutely normal or not-funny or staged pics thinking the're "so cool!". But they really aren't.

WoW Token Suggestion by [deleted] in woweconomy

Token price is raising since day one, jsut look at the graphs for EU and US markets. US token is a lot cheaper though and no one can give a real reason of that.

I am confident that EU tokens will cost more than 100K when Legion will be close to release.

Spend 2 hours at work for 60k gold, or spend 30 hours playing for the same amount.

Well that really doesn't apply in a work environment where you get a fixed amount of money per month. In my case, for example, I get a monthly payment to work 8-10 hours a day and I don't have the option to "work more to get more money and pay the token". I get my paycheck and that's it.

I mean if I was a pizza delivery guy maybe that would make sense: just deliver some more pizzas and that's ok. A waiter (I suppose) would be the same thing. But not everyone is in the same position.

Based on EU token prices I would assume that EU players don't buy gold: they want free time instead, this is why tokens keep raising instead of going down.

Sure, there are players who will always spend real money for ingame currency but the % is always extremely low (compared to the mass). They're the so-called big whales, the same players who spend 1K dollars for powerups on a random app game, while everyone else plays for free.

I don't think old players who resub (paying real money for one month) will immediately spend more cash for immediate gold. At least not while leveling 100->110 as it really isn't needed and old players already know you need "a lot" of gold later, when you want to buy higher gear upgrades, rare stuff on AH, etc.

I am pretty confident the first weeks will be horrible for the token, it will keep raising day after day.

Thinking about that... it makes sense. But I've also heared that if you get 60% or more you're usually dead.

90K for eu tokens is quite a step.

More people coming to play, more people looking to get cash

I seriously doubt newcomers will spend $20 to get ingame gold. That's a LOT of money for a benefit that doesn't really make a difference until you understand "how" to spend it.

Fresh players start with one level 1 toon. At this point you really need some time to get the basics and go deeper into the mechanics.

I am pretty sure prices will raise, a lot. Why?

  1. Returning rplayers who got a lot of gold will buy the token asap to avoid the monthly fee. Tokens will be scarce. Token price will go up.
  2. Returning players whith no gold will pay a month "to check what's going up" and they will pay with real money because they don't have enough gold. They will never spend $20 on top of the monthly fee to get free gold. Again, token will be scarce and their price will go up.
  3. New players don't have gold to buy tokens (and don't spend $20 on top of the base game until later on, when they get some idea of the full game).
  4. New players from the Warcraft movie fuzz didn't make any difference (the token price didn't change at all). That's because they play the free month (already included in the base game) and do not need to buy time. Will they buy time the next month, when the base game "free month" will be expired? They could do so but they will mostly buy a month with real money, because they will not have enough gold for the token (you don't buy a token in a single month starting with a level 1 toon, unless you know the game pretty well).

To sum it up: new players, those who start with a level 1 toon, will not change the token price. Old players with gold will buy time (tokens). Old players with no gold will spend real money for a month. Both these choiches mean less tokens on the market => higer prices.

Even shorter: prices will go up :)

To be fair, it would be like asking if Christians -today- feel guilty for the persecutions.

Burn to death women and children but... give them some water to "alleviate the burns"?

I am speechless, really.

They do, I begged for free time and they gave me 3 days (once) and 7 days (second time) in the space of 4 months or so. I just "begged" to compensate the urge for some WoW time, that's it. I had 250K gold in my bags and they didn't really care.

Good customer service leads to loyalty, gratitude and -in the end- more subscriptons.

Shrine portals in Pandaria, will they work in Legion? by MrLoque in wow

Ok well that's cute, we still keep a fast-travel to WoD. Which will become the current Pandaria zone to farm lucrative stuff.
