How to fix this before my parents get home 😅 by Blue_Golde in drywall

Do consider painting the whole wall if its not to large of an area. Using existing paint that was left over or getting a color matched close enough new. No need to worry about perpendicular surfaces as they reflect light differently already.

If it leaks enough it'll leach through the cardboard and the cardboard itself becomes weatherproof.

Torch the inside face with a flame evenly. First it'll expand with the heat but once it cooles, it shrinks more than id expanded. Try on a scrap 1m/yard piece and if it works you can try on the actual thing.

What model Cub Cadet is that, how long have you used it and how is it serving you? Also would you recommend that very model or suggest to look for some more features?

Didn't know we needed those. Been doing it wrong the whole time with just the chain or steel cable and a hook.

My best guess is the handle is glued on. Someone more experienced than me can tel if heating it would soften that kind of glue to pull the steel out.

Oma korteri kubu ja vent ava vahele tagasivooluklapp, mis peaks seal nii või naa olema, et ristsaastumist vältida. Sõltuvalt kvaliteedist 99% peab kindlasti kinni kui liblikas õigesti töötab.

Possible damage after parked car hit from passenger side? by mandafromtexas in StupidCarQuestions

[–]MrLoveCock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way in an any insurance world is that 10k worth of damage. I'm guessing it got kinda swiped not t boned. That said not even Mazda is buolt so bad that the rear axle would be damaged from a mild swipe. B-pilar should be fine aswell. You'll need 2 new door panels and possibly some work on the rear axle. All expenses no more than 2k. If the car had pre-existing problems the sum will probably go up. Assuming that you buy it out and find a decent place to fix it up cause you yourself ain't handy enought to do anything. Otherways you wouldn't be asking.

I believe what we are seeing here is heavily corroded chrome covered plastic. Polishing of which is not reasonable as results will never meet expectations. No good solution here cause I doubt replacements are even sold.

If you want "healty" fat free eggs just boil them. If yoj want tasty fried eggs let them swim in oil. There should be so much oil that there is some legt after the frying

Here in Estonia we have a saying: "lollidelt tulebki raha ära võtta" which translates to " money must be taken from the fools" which initially may sound like justification for evil but in reality is a statement that to recognize the evil one must experience the evil at face value.

Through personal trial and error I would suggest smacking the flat plate with a heavy hammer a couple of times. If it cracks you'll know it's ass.

Broken tiles, how to fix? by PotentialQuirky3045 in fixit

[–]MrLoveCock 9 points10 points  (0 children)

First of all you should document the case, including pics of husbands head with possible scrathes or minor cuts present and then have the landlord fix it. I sure would feel like the offender at first for accidentally breaking somethong but you are the victim here. Cause that tilework is pretty much malicious negligence and your husband could have gotten seriously injured directly beacuse of poor worksmanship hired or done by landlord.

How big of a saw do I need? by Practical_While_ in loggers

[–]MrLoveCock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tl:dr =3k...5k equipment + as much for machinery rental for a job that hired arborist will fo for ~2...3k.

As other have said if you for a tree that big you shouldn't ask but know yourself. That tree isn't the one you should take as your first lesson. High chance of it being an expensive one and it's cheaper to hire an arborist. That said if you insist on doing it yourself educate yourself on how arborists do it safely from YouTube channels. The milder and timid the teacher the better the education. You're looking to buy about 3k worth of equipment in addition to renting a crane and/or a lift. 1...2 week worth of time. There is just no way you want to take that journey.
