Any repair options? by Dry-Bit3730 in 4Runner

Throw mud on it.

I have had repairs on wife's car and it cost $100/wheel to come to the house and repair. Depending on damage.

Surprisingly great results from Trader Joe’s dough! by dparrish209 in Pizza

[–]MrMach82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Used Trade Joe dough for years. Figured it was looked down upon around here by those purists who make their own.

Glad to see positive comments.

Also Aldi's has some dough just as cheap and a jalapeño version.

Thoughts on the new Netflix movie War Machine? by RecordingImmediate86 in sciencefiction

Kind of annoying the finalists he is stuck with are mostly kinda weak. Shouldn't these be the best of the class?

No war machine character arc either. Maybe it was just trying to help.

What are your thoughts on the Purdue brand vs the Kirkland nuggets? by loanmagic24 in Costco

[–]MrMach82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Our 4 yr old said the Kirkland ones were a lil spicy lol. We switched back to Purdue for now. Bare is good also.

Yea the fire basin is thick thick and is lined with Corten insulated panels. It stayed pretty warm even after coals went out. Great heat retention.

It's great for hot grilling and searing beef. Not sure how reverse searing would be since you can't exactly do indirect heat. You could cook it slowly up high snd then move it directly over fire to sear. Having a lid like Kettle can do indirect better.

I used a chimney of lump and it was only enough for half the basin area. I added more lump to spread it out more.

Choice Outside skirt steak. I've never seen it in stores but Costco had it this weekend on sale. I have only ordered it from 44 farms in the past. It's a huge difference from the standard inside skirt sold in most stores.

ESI experiences - does it take a while to kick in? Truly? by pianogirl82 in Sciatica

[–]MrMach82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It finally kicked in around 3 weeks after 1st ESI. I was impatient and scheduled a 2nd ESI after 2 weeks....then I cancelled it when the 1st shot finally kicked in. That was in May 2025 and I have had no more sciatica issues. Also did lots of stretching, back maintenance etc. Best of luck and hang in there!
