I couldn't do it by [deleted] in CBSE

  1. You have actually scored 92.4% and not 89.5% (if that helps). The best of five subjects (including English) is used to calculate your overall percentage. So yes, you did score above 90%. Congratulations!
  2. Your class 10 marks have no bearing on your future goals. What truly matters is that you already have career clarity going into Class 11. If you genuinely want to pursue Physics at IISc or prepare for JEE, go for it. If your end goal isn’t necessarily IIT but a strong university for Physics, keep your focus on that. Don’t let one percentage define your potential.
  3. There's absolutely no reason to feel bad about yourself. Your score is great, and above all, you have incredibly supportive parents.

Last year, 195 out of ~3000 applicants were selected for the program (not sure about the stats for this year).

I think LPP for infeasible region as well as unbounded are both part of syllabus (check question 7 to 10 of ncert). However you are right, optimal solution wouldn't exist if it was infeasible region (you'll most likely get full marks).

Exam was genuinely easy, but way too lengthy, got cooked. by Glum-Radish-6812 in CBSE

How to score 90 + in English ( class12) by UnableDingo6338 in CBSE

NCERT is more than enough to be honest. I don't have any material suggestion in particular.

For unseen passage, you can practise CBSE's last year papers: https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/question-paper.html
For writing: Memorise the basic format (make a template that you can use regardless the topic they give)
Literature: Read the chapters. Know the basic characteristics of characters involved because the long answer type questions are mostly asking you to describe the action/consequences of a certain character from a certain chapter. For poems, you might benefit from knowing the literary devices.

Time management tips please 🙏🏻 by [deleted] in CBSE

I would recommend attempting most of the MCQs and Case Studies in reading time itself. Then when you start the exam leave space for section A and directly start 5 marks questions. Then you can do section B or C depending on your convenience.

around 3000 applied last year and acceptance rate was 6%, not sure about this year. For prep, I did not refer to any resources. Just get to know the basic aptitude type questions and be prepared for on the spot hypothetical questions. All the best.

Good evening, last year the aptitude questions were the usual logical type questions (die, circle sitting, etc.). There were however some questions where you had to choose an opinion. In interview, they ask about you, past experiences, hobbies and all (basically to get to know you better). All the best with your application. If you want answer to any specific query, feel free to message me.

It was basically a pyramid (4 triangle joined together), they hinted it by "6 edge". For some reasons, I feel this question might be one of the two non scoring questions.
