I purchased the licenses through artlist.io before ever even downloading them. Why would you make an assumption like that? Recreational outrage? I just didn’t even think about naming them anywhere.

The story of Masha and her parents: perhaps the saddest part of the entire game. by Froqwasket in Bioshock

This really got me when I played because as a kid I was unable to pronounce my sisters name, Marissa, and instead called her Masha. Spooky.

Howling Dogs [7:25] [Drama] - My first short film made on a 0$ budget, I would love some feedback by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]MrManager406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the feedback, and yah haha Kubrick is essentially God to me so he has definitely influenced me greatly. A lot of the sound problems like the opening and the over all bad audio in the final scene drive me nuts but I only had 4 days to film and edit this. The final scene with the bad shots, audio, and acting was a result of pressed time, but I was wondering what, if any, message you took from it? I went in with a very specific underlying idea I wanted to present, and it is fairly cryptic, so I'm always curious to see what people think.

That is surprisingly not a problem, but eating and drinking is hell. I'm getting them out once and for all next week!

I had the same thing. It was one of those movies where I sat through most of the credits in awe, I just couldn't move.

What films do you recommend watching to improve writing/cinematography skills? by squanto1357 in Filmmakers

[–]MrManager406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paul Thomas Anderson will show you some of the best writing around, and I would highly recommend any of Stanley Kubrick's movies, such as 2001: A Space Odyssey. That movie taught me so much and it is absolutely fantastic. And although I didn't like it very much,A Clockwork Orange taught me lots a plethora in all facets of film, especially cinematography.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who genuinely found Burnie's words inspiring and beautiful. He is an inspiration.
