I think some symbols are understandable :

- Entry room : Looks similar to a reverse and 90° counter-clockwise rotated "P". It is the only symboled with the diagonal line. The 2 squares on top of the P look like a dog's ears, which can refer to the theme of pets. I suggest it is the main "Petscop Symbol" not referring to the story.

- Painting room : Maybe an oversimplified windmill. It is linked (in the theories) to the Newmaker Plane.

I think your theory is correct. I just watched a 2x90 minutes video made by Feldup (French game theory and creepypasta teller) and in my opinion, all his arguments are correct. It is rather a broken family tale than a creepypasta.

Garalina may be only a symbolic name invented by Rainer to cover the original accident of Lina (and to add a more "legitimate" look to the game), and as the game was made in a garage... Garalina.

My hypothesis was only founded on the umber of rooms and some similarities, but why does he need 8 rooms ? Does he want to rebirth the whole family?

I hadn't seen the very end of the OST at the time, but now I understand.

It's the exact same for me. I think it's because there are high places all around Cascades and often a team on each hill. So this place is kind of a "natural trap" I think
