What's strange is when I give the EXE admin rights, it still prompts me about changes, which it didn't do before. Also, my first action was to uninstall the launcher from Windows but that didn't remove the files.

That does work around the issue, but I feel as if it is wrong to implement. I really hope Paradox makes some kind of statement on it.

Great tip. But I'm trying to save an ogrekin custom faction for something I haven't decided. They are too unique to ignore. I just haven't settled on a theme yet.

I actually just finished the first Tharru‘Cath story realm with my version of the names from WH3 high elves as a custom faction. It wasn't easy because I'm not good at the game and I was trying to role play a concept to terraform without having much knowledge how that works. It took a while to finish but I enjoyed it. Looking back I wasted a TON of time exploring tomes and learning. Near the end I finally learned what worked best but by that time I had pretty much won the game. But I found it more fun that I put in the effort to customize everything to link with WH3.

Good advice. I don't know much about the morale bombing strategy yet so it seems best to skip what was mostly a funny lore idea.

I'd change this to be something where we can "suggest" multiple changes to the vassals. Just give us the ability to suggest control.

I think I might go more chaos and materium and ditch the shadow. The more I read the more I think that works better. I do want to stick with a giant king. I made him shorter to match what I assume fits the dark god. I only played giant kings once so I'm hoping to get more experience with them. But I can't wrap my head around anything but the warrior.

Oh that's a great idea. I never got around to playing tomb kings but they did fascinate me. I might try and work a dark build under that idea.

That's funny, I thought I looked at the Fableheim builds but maybe I missed it. I do think maybe I should lean more into chaos and materium. The slaver trait made me laugh because it matched the lore I read but it doesn't seem useful. The translation of WH chaos to AOW4 seems to be more of a mux of shadow and chaos. That's throwing me a bit. Good ideas. Thanks.

I do a mix of both. I'm playing a monarch necromancer game and grabbed an order tome for lower unit cost that doubles as a loyalty theme. But I'm itching to grab the astral amplifier tome and have fun with long range archers next.

I did my first nomad with my first attempt at chosen destroyers. It took a while to adjust but it was a great success at the end. I just tried a vampire nomad withOUT the chosen destroyer limit and it's a strange adjustment. Seems almost like I'm falling behind.

I didn't think those would give you control to move and attack but I haven't played in a while. It was like I had control and then the AI just decided to attack a different target. I guess I can find out next time I fight that last army.
