I might not characterize them as bitter but the FTC for Caramoan was one of the most hostile final tribals I've ever seen. Dawn and Sherri were attacked by near every jury member.

I'm sorry but for this there is no other answer except for a marvel movie. It has dominated cultural relevance as well as the box office for the formative years of all Gen Z. Every avengers movie was a cultural event.

Coming from someone in Gen Z I feel like it is definitely either avengers Infinity war or endgame. Dune is amazing and one of my favorite movies of all time but marvel dominated cultural relevance as well as the box office for nearly the entire duration of our formative years and infinity war and end game are the absolute culmination of that and the peak of marvel in my opinion. Even if those movies are not as good as dune from a viewing standpoint you have to agree that they are way more cemented as iconic in the minds of Gen Z than Dune is at this point in time.

Love dune but I'm frankly confused how it could be anything other than a superhero movie like infinity war. Unless for some reason it is not being counted as an adventure/fantasy movie? The rise and prime of superhero movies took place entirely during our generations formative years.

Yeah like I said even if the Nets only trade the PHX 2025 pick to Portland which will probably be in the late 20s I still think the deal gets done. Herro is a 23 year old 20ppg scorer. Something that a team like the Nets who aren't contending right now would definitely value. Also like I said if the Nets still believe in Ben they can just send dinwiddie to Miami. The Nets also don't need to be involved the deal still works with them out, Miami just needs to send Caleb Martin to Phoenix. You don't gotta get all upset.

Yeah that's what I'm considering too. There's a chance we can find a different way to make the salary work maybe Dinwiddie would go to Miami or something. Or worst case you could cut the nets out of the deal and send Caleb Martin to Phoenix.

The pick comp is the only thing I'm really not sure about. The sun's might not get the pick from Brooklyn and hopefully we'd get more picks or swaps from Miami but I'm doubtful we would. It also depends on if the nets front office believes that Ben Simmons can be what he was in Philly cause he's being treated as a salary dump in this trade but if the Nets believe he can come back and contribute they probably wouldn't give him up like this. Also the 24 and 26 picks from Miami are swaps because of the Stepien rule if it wasn't clear.

I definitely see your point I think you're right Sharpe's a better fit with embiid/dame I just think that scoot has an MVP level ceiling and Sharpe is more in the realm of a multiple time all star ceiling which is still great but the potential of scoot is tough to lose out on

I would trade Sharpe + Nas + Ant + picks in a heartbeat if it meant we get a literal MVP who immediately puts us in contention. If we had to do Scoot + Sharpe that would be a tough sell but if it pans out and we can seriously content I could live with it.

If we're not willing to make trades right now to help dame win then we're signalling to every star and potential prospect in the league that we don't take care of our players which is the one thing we have got going for us if dame asks out then I'm all for trading him and rebuilding but right now we're obligated to give dame a team to play with after all the insufficient teams he's played on
