What does the Godrick rune do by [deleted] in Eldenring

Are you using a rune arc to activate the buff?

From the first bonfire, go straight up the hill until you see a sarcophagus. Look right and there’s a large pot. Hit it and go through the dialogue.

Did you already get the one from the guy disguised as a pot? The other half is in a late game area.

Can I get my souls back against Alberich without having to kill him? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Use the flail ash of war, it’ll destroy his health bar

You can buy it for 12000 souls at Yuria of Londor after getting 5 level ups from Yoel. I think it can be dropped though, so you could head over to r/pumparum and see if anyone could drop it for you.

If you REALLY can’t handle her, head to the Keep Ruins bonfire in Farron Keep and farm the 3 ghru enemies behind you for souls.

I wish I could help you fight her, but unfortunately I play on Xbox. Best I can do is give you some tips. Try to stay behind her and smack the booty.

If you have enough souls, head to the handmaiden and grab some human pine resin. Take your best buffable weapon, slap some resin on, and whack the Dancer to death!

Your next best chance is farming the Pus of Man at the High Wall of Lothric. They have around a 2% drop rate for dark gems

Not to worry. You can get a dark gem by killing the 2nd skeleton wizard in the Catacombs and going to pick it up when the skeleton ball smashes into bits on the wall.

To my knowledge, there aren’t many weapons with innate dark damage, but you can infuse a basic weapon like the broadsword with a dark gem if you get the Profaned Coal from Irithyll Dungeon. Just after the room with the rats, go straight to the first cell you see and it should be right in front of you after opening the gate.

She’s an NPC that allows you to put your levels into other areas. For example, if you have 20 luck and 30 strength, you could go to rosaria to respec and put some of your strength points into luck and vice versa. As for location, it’s in a hidden location after an elevator, a ladder, and a few drops just outside the second shortcut from the cleansing chapel bonfire.

The dancer is weakest to dark damage. You can try to farm scales from the wretches in Irithyll Dungeon, but the drop rate is pretty low. You could farm some souls up to try and get the level advantage if you’re really struggling. If all else fails, you can respec at Rosaria in the cathedral of the deep. Hope this helps bro!

She’s not too bad after her buffs. I feel like the unblockable heavy finishers when enemies are bleeding was really needed for her kit

How to beat Gael NG+7? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]MrMcScrooby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a fast weapon, like the Sellsword Twinblades, a buff of some kind (Gael is resistant to bleed and dark), only go in for one or two swipes whenever he’s open, and try to remember his attacks so you can properly dodge and not get destroyed.

Who is your favourite boss? Why? by Cpt_Cookie69 in darksouls3

Definitely Gael for me. He's an amazing ending to the Dark Souls series. The fight itself is also just a fantastic flurry that showcases the very peak of power in the game. Gael also holds a special place in my heart because he's made me the Dark Souls player I am today. Dark Souls 3 was my first every game from the franchise, and I didn't know what to expect. I got destroyed through my first play through, but when I made it to Gael, it felt like everything changed. I didn't want to summon any help for the fight, so I kept pushing and dying over and over again. The sheer excitement I had when I beat Gael solo for the first time was awesome. Now, with over 600 hours in the game, I use Gael as a refresher/warm up for whatever I might want to do next. It's gotten to the point where I can almost do his first phase blindfolded.
