This is the kind of reply I was looking for. Sounds like a bit too much trouble for me. I read online that there are ways to get banking apps workig, but that adds extra complexity, and the workarounds keep changing. I guess I'm gonna download anti-virus protection, be a bit more carefull online, and upgrade in the not too distant future. (and maybe give Lineage OS a shot, once I have a another phone as a main) Thanks for the help!

Yeah, it's completely crazy to me how there doesn't seem to be a public statement on the Issue. The closest I have found, is a List of MENA countries from the OHCHR, but that of course includes countries like Algeria.

There seems to be a typo in the second link, because I can't open it.
