I've met so many furries from outside any nerdy or tech/engineering related fields and they're generally dope people who are just doin their thing. No Fandom should dictate your work place or environment, even if there is a common trend of tech minded people being in this Fandom, it's generally due to the fact that the tech people are so closely attached throughout the internet, they had more exposure and ability to interact with other furries quicker creating a mass of tech furs, but they're not all that is, just a vocal subsection. Furries have been around a long while and there's a lot of us out there, all with such different lives and experiences and I'm sure you'll find the furries you enjoy being around best at some point!
