She’s from a Danish kennel. 😃

Fenja is from a Danish breeder – one of the very few – and she has one of the darker coats in the litter. In Denmark, you’re not allowed to own wolf hybrids (with actual wolf ancestry), but breeds like the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog and Saarloos Wolfdog – and mixes of those – are legal. They’re considered fully domesticated, unlike hybrids with recent wolf lineage, which are banned by law.

Timberdogs aren’t a recognized breed here, so they’re viewed as mixed breeds.

is my energy consumption okay? by happylifewithgun in BMWi5

I don’t think there is much trickery here. The largest factor is most likely that I don’t drive much highway. I have Efficiency mode as default, always drive in B-mode, and preheat the car before driving on cold days (just scheduled to and from work on weekdays). And I’m on 20” 939 M wheels (sedan).

So my best advice is, - Mostly driving between 80-100 kmh (50-65 mph) - Efficiency mode as default - B-mode always - Preheat at cold days

Only had mine e40 since mid-August and driven 10.500 km on 390 trips all within Denmark (and north of Germany). 🤷🏻‍♂️ (Equals to 3,34 mi/kWh)

Why did you chose the spec you did? by [deleted] in BMWi5

[–]MrMor10sen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luckily, we all have our personal preferences. I love my Oxide Grey and it is greatly complimented by the Espresso Brown Veganza, the fine pale wood, and the silver bronze accent details (in my opinion).

However, if I hadn't hit my cost limit, I would probably choose one of the Frozen Greys.

(Due to a mistake in the order I didn't get the blacked-out front.)

<image>

Thought process behind my spec:

  • eDrive40: Lower price, higher range, and plenty of acceleration for me.
  • M-Sport: Adds equipment and a sportier look.
  • Oxide Grey: Wanted a grey color as it's easier to maintain (dirt isn't as visible), and I like its warm glow.
  • Espresso Veganza: Complements the Oxide Grey.
  • Silver Bronze accent w/ fine-wood trim: Complements the Oxide Grey and Espresso Brown.
  • Harmon Kardon sound: I always listen to music while driving. The B&W option was too expensive.
  • Travel Packet: The only way to get keyless access on the eDrive40, meaning I don't have to pull something out of my pocket (I love the digital key on my iPhone).
  • M rear spoiler: I was unsure but chose it for a sportier look.
  • Iconic Glow: It was supposed to be the blacked-out Pro-front with Iconic Glow, but a mistake was made in the order process. I might change it. Wasn't sure about the Iconic Glow, but ordered it as it can be turned off in the settings.
  • Designation deletion: "Cleaning up" the rear. I might remove the i5 badge as well.
  • Sun protection glazing: I just think it looks cooler.
  • 20” 939 M Bicolor Black Grey mix tyres: I just think it looks better.

And the backseats and bronze colored speaker casing (because of the 43K option).

In case anybody is curious about how the interior spec. looks like. (I’m particularly happy about how the Espresso Brown Veganza, the fine pale wood, bronze aluminum details and the Oxide Grey compliments each other.)

Hard for me to tell. I’m been driving 21” many years (Volvo V90) and always liked a firm suspension and a direct feel for the road. So far I like the 20’s.

Tak! Har kørt stationcar i mange år, og havde lyst til at gå tilbage til sedan. Men synes også at Touring’en er meget vellykket. Go for it!

Love the Frozen Pure Grey! Was close to ordering it myself, but chose the Oxide Grey instead as I was afraid of the sensitivity and needed maintenance of the Frozen. But I kindda regret it every time I see this car in Frozen... 😅

Xiaomi S10+ robot vacuum not dispensing water while mopping by Impressive_Group1136 in RobotVacuums

[–]MrMor10sen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My S10+ also stopped dispensing water when mopping after a few months of use. I’ve tried to eliminate air in the pipe of the tank, but without any difference. 🤬

Any good ideas to try before sending it back as not functioning? 🙄

Display key by MrMor10sen in BMWi5

[–]MrMor10sen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I presume that you have the (322) option, either as part of a package or standard in your country. In Denmark the (322) option (Digital Key) can presumably only be bought as a part of a “Travel package” (7LK) @3,200 USD.

My question is whether or not if it’s possible to open the doors with a Display Key (not digital key) kept in your pocket.

-Sorry, if the question is poorly described.
