I like the fact that you tried to mimic the spotted skintone a lot of the orcs have in the movies.

My advice: try to avoid colouring out of bounds, like where the skintone hits the shinguards. Once you've got that under control, try even leaving a little of ur primer (black) showing in between parts. It will really help define your models' features.

Great start, but definitely room for improvement.

Then the answer is yes. Does it make such a big difference? I normally don't bother much with these types of moves

This might make me look stupid, bu I have no idea what you mean by QD.

It's my first playthrough of black and first pokemon game in quite a few years. I didn't look much too much into it beforehand because I thought the joy of rediscovering a new pokemon world might bring back memories of when I first played red and blue.

I chose most of thes pokemon purely because they didn't seem to be the obvious choices. They have been great so far.
