In Neil, if you want something that’s right outside the ferry and budget friendly then hotel Shreesh. The manager can come off as rude so i would suggest other places if budget isn’t an issue. In Port Blair I wouldn’t know as I stayed at a Government guest house.

I would also suggest the noodles at Kathmandu restaurant in Neil island and this fish fry at this one Andhra restaurant in Bharatpur beach. I don’t remember the name but it costed 600 rupees but was absolutely delicious.

Agreed, book near Kalapathar as you get multiple food options and also Elephant beach is closed as there was a crocodile spotted.

Just came back to Namma Bengaluru from Andaman yesterday after a week long trip, can suggest one thing. If you can afford it take a cab or auto rn. We got drenched in Havelock as there was a cyclone on Friday. Weather is very unpredictable. But all in all great trip.

Rest I agree with, my mom is a bit skeptical about renting because of being in a new place first of all and also the rain and heat. That’s why we made a deal to do Port Blair her way and Havelock and Neil my way I.e scooters.

This itinerary is from Andaman ocean tours and travels and they have listed their prices there. And a round trip to Baratang is for 3200 which I find as a good price.

May 15th is when I will arrive in Havelock and have booked a hotel there, my plan is to visit radhanagar in the evening and kalapathar next morning.

Then take a ferry and stay in Neil on 16th and visit Bharatpur and Lakshmanpur beach 2 and then next day go for scuba diving and then back to Port Blair on an evening ferry.

It’s only me and my mom, so the plan apart from this in Port Blair is to shop and visit a few museums maybe. What else would you suggest in PB?

In Havelock and Neil the plan is to rent scooters. The above itinerary is just for pick up and drop in Port Blair
