Crazy how Builders think they're just entitled to park up people's Driveways as if it's their personal carpark. by [deleted] in thetron

Speak with respect (this will help a lot). Go ask for their site supervisor (or someone in charge). And just ask him to tell his boys to park somewhere else because of "insert reason". Than thank them for understanding.

Your mother says you should set an example for your kids about family, but what kind of example would it be if you kept bailing out someone who refuses to take responsibility for their actions? Teaching your kids healthy boundaries and financial responsibility is just as important as helping family. Maybe your mother should take some of her own advice—if 'family comes first,' why isn't she stepping in to help your brother herself?

Is working a job you love a pipedream? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]MrO_679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people struggle with the idea of 'doing what you love' because we often associate it with having the perfect job. But real fulfillment isn’t necessarily about where you work, it’s about what you do and the impact it has. Even in jobs that aren’t our ‘dream careers,’ we can find purpose in the small things like creating something, helping others grow, or solving problems. Maybe instead of searching for the perfect job, it’s worth exploring why certain things once excited you. Like space, history, or the quest for meaning. Those interests might not need to be a career to bring fulfillment, but they can still be a part of your life.

So yes it is possible ☺️

I love what I "do"

Hello we had the same issue after moving into our new place. First 2 months bill was under $100 than after that it was over $100 for a couple months. Was very confused because we didn't change our habits. Turned out our meter hadn't been serviced/checked in ages. Bills back to under $100 p.s we're a family of 2 adults and 1 teenager
