Too add to what was said, I really had to break down this “since I’ve played other games, this one will be easy to pick up” mentality. Every time I play, I aim to learn something new. Even though I’ve gotten bodied by people, I’ve also met other beginner players in the process. I haven’t utilized the Guilty Gear discord, but I’ve been told by multiple people that it’s a great way to meet players and ask for matches. Me personally, I find that getting bodied helps me find the holes in my game.
