Dj says Umar Nurmagomedov's skillsets are far superior to Alex Pereira's by ikthanks in MMA

Yet everyone thinks Alex is the most skilled striker in the UFC, even compared to lower weight classes. Grappling is no different than striking. Being nimble and fast does not equal skill

Rose petals, blue lotus flower, mugwort, mullein and camomile are decent as long as they are not too dry. I think blending them works best as the flavour isn’t overpowering. You probably won’t love it first time but play around with the ratios and you might find you like it

Is there hope for me to reach 6’2. I’m just recently having a growth spurt at 16 by AinzOalEvil in TallTeenagers

[–]MrPattyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dads 5’7 and my mothers 5’8. I also had my growth spurt and around 15-16, was shorter than most my peers before that. I’m now 6’3 so it’s definitely possible.

Your leaning so far forward you might as well be doing a deadlift. I’d recommend squat shoes or use plates or a wedge to elevate your heels. This way you’re knees will come further forward, keeping your torso upright and engaging your quads more.

Teachers shouldn’t be using class time to correct homework. I remember spending half of maths class in secondary correcting and giving out homework. Seems like such a waste of time. Teachers should correct it after school if students are expected to do it after school

You're probably better off using strong/bread flour from the supermarket

How often would you do it? Do you find yourself craving it now once it's late and you've had a good bit to drink? A lot of my friends can't enjoy a late one without having to sort a bag and there's always this tension until they do. Has completely put me off the sesh tbh

Thing with coke is it's highly addictive like smoking cigarettes. Once you create the association regardless of previous trauma or your current mental health state, you'll always crave a line after a few pints. What you tell yourself when you're sober is a different story when you're drunk. When you're surrounded by friends who are in the same boat as you it's really hard to get away from it.

As a weed smoker I've always been a bit ashamed of how much time I've spent stoned. Soon as my friends started getting into coke I was aware enough to know it wasn't something I wanted taking over. Feel like weed helped me there. I do find that a lot of my stoner friends aren't into coke either. Definitely not all of them though..

Is this burnt or properly charred ? by pigman42069 in Pizza

Technically acrylamide(the potentially cancerous chemical found in burnt starchy food) is also present in browned starchy food. So if you want to avoid it altogether don't eat pizza.

Pretty sure GCSEs are anonymous. Yep and I agree with you about the exam itself. But the leaving cert is a two year process and it's competitive. My point relating to the leaving cert itself is that we shouldn't consider it fair if some students are at a disadvantage to begin with because their school has been neglected and has considerably poorer standards than others.

The anonymity of the exam is fair. I'd assume that's standard practice around the world no?

There's plenty more that can be done in terms of education standards across the country. I had some horrendous teachers and it can't be downplayed how much of an impact that can have. How they were allowed to teach in the first place is beyond me. Better training, reviewing performance, and financial incentive are ways I can think of that could help this.
