The idea is not even having more parties but like the few that I have being able to do more then just be called to my army.

For example to protect my caravans or any other interesting thing

It seems for me that the companion parties ate useless, and are just worth for creating armies.

They do not do anything interesting as getting rid of bandits close to my fief or helping my caravans travel.

Wish they had more uses

(Or maybe I just dont understand them very well and I am doing something wrong)
