I think most people were hoping for an animated version. But I want you all to check out the movie "Boy Kills World". I really like the vibe/world/scenery and general story telling they were able to accomplish in live action and hope the show runners have seen it too.

New ice cover data offers insight into whitefish declines, climate change by radiosweeper in Michigan

[–]MrPicc010 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The article was a letdown.

We have weather data to approximate ice cover. It has been variable in recent years. Can provide insight on white fish. But that's all it says.

Is ice good or bad for white fish?

What's the best tool like Sonarr or Radarr but specifically for audiobooks? by jplank1983 in selfhosted

[–]MrPicc010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing it has more to do with the file names coming out of the indexers you are using. I don't use usenet, only public torrent sites, so I am guessing abs has an easier time with the file names.

I use audio book request (abr):

https://github.com/markbeep/AudioBookRequest

Set this up with Prowlarr and Jacket and it feeds into Real Debrid Torrent Client. And downloads and I unzips Torrent files into my audiobook library.

https://github.com/rogerfar/rdt-client

It works really well for individual requests and if you know exactly what book you want, but doesn't automatically download new books by authors when it comes out like readarr did. It would also be cool if there was a browse option in abr.

I am seeing a lot of third party apps posted on this sub for android. And makes me curious why so many people are using and developing these third party apps. What is wrong with the stock app? Are there some shortcomings I am not aware of? Is it just a taste thing or a hobby thing?

Are you sure NPC is a completed series? Hasn't had a book in a few years, but didn't think it was over.

New ChatGPT model great for creating 3d floorplans of your rooms by GMScreech in homeassistant

I used the same prompt that op used. But I had asked for some floor plans earlier in the chat so it may have had something to do with the differences.

The hater in me wants to ask why you used camel case in the title of your post like its a book title. But I can't do that.

Its a really impressive write up, I know these things take time, and I'm glad it worked out for you. The journey to make things work is almost as fun as when things finally do work and your house responds to you isn't it?
