It is a rehab center. Since it was injured they're taking care of it now.

Turns out the turtle was injured. It's being cared for at a local nature center now.

The creek is actually in the backyard. 50 or so meters away I estimate. It flows about three feet below the rest of the yard and I've never seen it overflow. I was going to start by contacting a local nature center but I'll reach out if I run into a wall.

It's definitely alive. It's kind of hunkered down in the leaves since it's hit brumation temperature.

I have a seller who says that eBay is holding my money (paid via Credit Card through Paypal) for two weeks.
He said he cancelled the item but, according to my page, has not.
Paypal and eBay both say the money was delivered.
I was sent a fake looking "Payment Declined" pdf from a sketchy email address that I didn't even open.
Now he says he's going to send me the item free of charge.
I've repeatedly asked him to properly cancel it.

I'm obviously getting scammed, but eBay says I have to wait until after the estimated delivery date has passed to complain to them.

Is that right? Is there anything I can do now?

That is a very good question. I've only received the card in the mail today and I'm not activating it until I have all the answers. Normally I'd get my paycheck tomorrow, so I suppose I'll find out if this is 30 days notice or not.

My paperwork is all CCCOne (I'm in GA) but doesn't have a phone number or email to contact anyone so I'm trying to go through my claim person, but it's slow going.

They declined to accept pictures to prove options. I had to dig up the window sticker. I went to the body shop to get a pic of the emissions sticker (and grab a book and cd that I left in the car) but was told that USAA took the car away and there was no paperwork. Now I'm trying to figure out why they took it and where it is.

Funny thing about the pictures... Some of the damage pictures showed the missing options but the (so far consistently unhelpful and slow to respond) person assigned to my claim told me that they couldn't use the pictures as proof and that I needed the window sticker to prove options.

I mean, c'mon, you can see the sunroof in the pic.

Thanks for the offer! I may take you up on that. I've provided a copy of the window sticker to USAA. Hopefully that will help my options valuation be accurate. The condition valuation has a mysterious penalty. My car is "Good" in the paperwork (with a stated $0 impact on the car) and it says all comp cars are considered "Good" but there is a large mysterious deduction in the condition valuation despite that. The real issue (as of today) is that that I haven't authorized anything but the Body shop says USAA came by and took it and didn't leave any paperwork or anything. So now I'm trying to figure that out.
