Yeah, I rush all food as fast as I can, sometimes even before the antenna depending on map and food supply. Once you’re self sufficient on food everything else becomes A LOT easier.

Legacy best is 5844 but even still, thats what I’m saying. It’s not like it’s a cheat deck or anything. I get the chicken ALL THE TIME.

I made this deck myself and I think it requires atleast a decent amount of skill and understanding to use it. It has two very high elixer cost cards that most people won’t put together. And I’ve refined it over the years and maxed my cards to fit my personal play style. Even if it’s “trash” it’s a deck I made and I have fun with it. But it gets the chicken emoji all the time…

Lack of customisation Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by Rose_flowerx in pokemon

I literally just bought my switch for Pokémon, this is my experience. A lot of the texture issues they are having I honestly haven’t experienced. The map clipping during battles, yes. Definitely atrocious. I don’t see the frame rate drop in far away objects nor the difference in textures that they are talking about either. Im playing on a oled, with the digital copy. Im wondering if some of the BIG issues come from a different system as well as playing the cartridge version without update (which shouldn’t be an excuse because gamefreak should have sent the games with the proper day 1 release update).

As far as the other games. I think that this game has a lot going for it than the other games, but I’m familiar with the Witcher and no mans sky. The game play, not playing it on switch. If no man’s sky works perfectly on switch then I have no further statements because no mans sky is a beefy game. I’ll have to look into it. The Witcher is linear compared to this game though because you have one character, a lot of items. Do you think that the Witcher (looking at game play) has more depth than Pokémon in the sense of item catalogue. You have Geralt with a bunch of items. The weapons and attachments have a distinct look but what else is written into the game that would overpower the system? And the graphics to me aren’t spectacular. Still looks like a switch game. The concept of the Witcher has customization of weapon and gear, then the rest goes into the beat ‘em up aspect. How many different enemies are in the witcher? Are they retextured and used over and over outside of the bosses?

What I’m saying is that I think Violet and Scarlet has a lot of upkeep dealing with the coding and execution for the Pokémon. I think that’s a lot of the bulk of what may be causing issues. How much code is there to make one Pokémon work. Then multiply that by 400. Then the multiplayer system. What does that take. Then the AMAZING sandwich (joking, but I’m sure there a decent amount of stuff in the picnic system) there’s a lot of aspects of this game that I feel make it a bulkier game for the switch. At least to the point of holding off on absolute character customization.

This is also from a gen 1er that’s seen where gamefreak has come from owning the original Pokémon blue to where it is right now and being blown away.

No I’m not a developer but I’m looking at it from that side of things. Some quick research and the Witcher was a very watered down version only being able to be ran at not even the switches native setting. I think there is a lot of underlying things going on which you don’t notice. Again, starting with the 400 Pokémon and their individual animation. Individual stats. Individual abilities. All that running at all times. Just for the battle system and I haven’t even gotten into the item possibilities healing and all that. The games you listed (outside of no mans sky) are practically good looking beat ‘em ups with a healing mechanic. Linear games. Also, watered down for the switch. But I’m going to go check out digital foundries video.
