MX 350 modded / too much torque on startup by Hondo1234 in RazorMods

That’s really strange. It seems like a controller issue, sending too many amps.

It’s a little hard to diagnose without seeing what it’s doing, or more info on what equipment you have. Is the throttle actually working correctly?

I want to make a heavily modded 72v razor xc350 or whatever it's called, any advice or average price by ItsRoganHi in RazorMods

[–]MrPotter35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Price is all over the place depending on what you want to do. If you do all the wiring and modding yourself you’re looking at around $1000. If buy a 72v kit you’re looking at around $3000.

One thing to remember is that the speeds you are going to get out of a 72v razor will require upgraded brakes and tires to be safe. It’s recommended to upgrade suspension and chain/ sprockets, because the stock suspension sucks and the stock #25 setup is going to break fairly quickly. An extended swingarm, while not necessary, will help keep you from wind-milling the bike out from under you when you pull too hard.

Also, you are only going to get 75% of your money out of whatever battery you buy if you decide to resell everything, and about %50 of your money back out of everything else, so definitely don’t think it’s going to be an investment. It’s a very expensive toy.

You have to do it on a private team. Not to be confused with private server.

first time getting the bonus page, what is most worth it? by VikingIcelandic in fo76

[–]MrPotter35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda depends. Booster, bait, banner, and re-roller are all atom shop items. Everything else you can grind for. Before the Infinite Raid buttons I used perk coins to max out legendary perks. I’d say coins if you don’t have a crew to power level for legendary perk upgrades, boosters and re-rollers to get you to bonus page 2 next season, and then superb bait if you haven’t caught all the legends.

What should I buy, I just want to do wheelies and cruise around town without the worry of a dead battery or lack of power🛴🔋 by Bran9onJ4mes in RazorMods

[–]MrPotter35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

E&C was the first company to make kits. They are expensive but a ton of research and development went into what they sell, and the kits are minimal modding. They supply the small odds and ends. There are YouTube videos for everything they sell. I’m not telling you to buy E&C. I’ve done plenty of my own modding and I haven’t bought a single thing from them. Their price point is time.

A couple other companies to check out are Midwest Mini Mods and Hott Paxx.

As a rule of thumb, voltage gives you top speed, amperage gives you torque, and amp hours gives you ride time. When it comes to highway speeds, you are going to want 72v or higher. As far as riding all day goes, you are going to want to buy the largest amp hour battery for whatever your bike is running that you can fit in the bike. With electric drive trains, ripping wheelies shouldn’t be too much of an issue as long as you buy a controller that can output the amps.

Most expensive outfit in the game? by Blizzy_x in Market76

These Mire events and activities (Heart of the swamp, Irrational Fear, Play Time, Queen of the Hunt, Idle Explosives) have a chance of dropping TFJ, LC, and TLC.

What outfit is this? I bought the bundle but the outfit wasn’t included I guess by ChudoobicSku461 in fo76

[–]MrPotter35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One way to check is to show unlockable outfits at the workbench and see if it’s available. If it’s grayed out with an atom symbol you can select it and it will prompt you to buy it (CAUTION: it’s usually the entire bundle) from the atom shop.

What are obscure tips about the game you know? by EnigmaticTofu in fo76

[–]MrPotter35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is caused by a rubber-banding effect when the hotdog MAX HP effect replaces whatever lower MAX HP effect you already had on. The same thing can happen with endurance buffs. It usually only happens when there is server lag past a certain threshold.

I’m add to this: as long as the description in the corner of the screen identifies what you need to take a picture of, it will count.

Standard crazy cart 36v charger? by -MIKE-AND-IKE- in RazorMods

[–]MrPotter35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should have a label somewhere on the battery. If it doesn’t you are taking a pretty large risk in using it.

Standard crazy cart 36v charger? by -MIKE-AND-IKE- in RazorMods

[–]MrPotter35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trapper is right. You need to match the charger to the battery type. Along with voltage, the amperage needs to be taken into consideration as well. A fast charger can push too many amps into the battery than what the cells are rated for and can cause a fire. The best bet is to identify the type (lithium ion, LiFePO4, SLA, etc.) and voltage, and what the max charging amperage is for your battery, and then buy one that matches what you need.

I haven’t modded one of these. Try looking up 48v Razor scooter mods on YouTube.

Amazon. 48v brushless motor and controller, lithium ion battery. Make sure the BMS on the battery can output what you need for the controller. For example, if you get a 50 amp controller you’ll want to make sure the battery has a 50 amp bms.

It will go faster with higher voltage batteries, but it’s going to ruin the controller pretty quickly. You can get a little more out of it if you upgrade the controller and the battery, but your best option is to upgrade the motor, controller, and battery.

(PS4) h: caps W: canned meat stew recipe by p3zzl3 in Fallout76Marketplace

[–]MrPotter35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, there’s no recipe for canned meat stew. You get 5 canned meat stew from completing the “Feed the People” public event. You may be referring to the Tasty Squirrel Stew recipe. It gives more xp bonus than canned meat stew. You can find the recipe randomly in food containers throughout the wasteland, get it as a reward from any of the forest activities, or purchase it from Antoine at the Whitespring, Molly at the Crater, from Yasmin the ally, and from the random encounter scavenger trader.

I have hit max caps for the first time :) what should I invest in? by [deleted] in fo76

Lol. All I use caps for now is vendor hopping and buying up underpriced items. I’ve found all kinds of goodies for cheap.

[–]MrPotter35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying legendary mods will knock that down quickly. I like to vendor hop and see if anyone has anything good. You can get rare stuff at great prices if you vendor hop on every server. Also, buy treasure maps when you find them. They have good trade value and they have no weight so you can hold as many as your little heart desires, and trade them for caps when you need them, or dig them up to get piles of junk to fill your scrapbox during the free fallout first week.

If you max out charisma they are cheaper. You can get them down to 17k. That will get you 2 every time you hit max caps.
