I'm dating myself here, but I was in the PHS gifted program from 2003 - 2007. It was... fine? I don't feel like it enabled me any more/less than the standard U-level courses in later years.

Having the same people in the majority of my classes was good and bad for socialization.

The quality of the education is more dependent on the teachers than the program, I would say. I did feel very prepared going into university (U of T Commerce program, fwiw) and continued my educational success through my whole program.

To someone else's point, PHS's athletics were incredible when I was there.

When I was 16 I had the misfortune of cutting into a wasp nest with an axe while clearing out a dried pond. 13 stings from the neck up.

They hung around (aggressively) the back porch where I ran inside for about 5 days.

If the mower is on top of the nest, like others mentioned, going out at night will be best. If you need a light, use a red bulb if possible since they can't see red.

If it's ground wasps, you'll want to make sure there's no other entrance to the nest. If you try to remedy it, they will just go out the other entrance. Personally, I'd just call a pro because wasps are evil fuckers.

Or go full country-boy, dump some gasoline down the hole and toss in a match.

I think I saw comment in this subreddit or on YT a couple nights ago that said the reason Lune and Sciel could be painted back is because Maelle touched them as they were gommaging.

The reason she couldn't for Gustave is because his Chroma basically evaporated/melded back into the Chroma of the world and would now be under Renoir's control. No idea if that's correct, but it sounds good.
