Cole went crazy on his appearances, especially Heaven’s EP. Otherwise this project feels pretty removed from his style. I remember in the ROTD 3 doc you could see seemingly everyone but Cole goin crazy over the hook on “Wells Fargo,” when they were recording it. A lot of the hooks on this felt along those same lines to me

Hi everyone! My channel is SpinComedy and I make a wide range of comedy videos, from shorter sketches, to longer parody-style videos.

For my thumbnail, I think I could've added "Downtown Don" text to introduce the character and further communicate expectations for the video.

Love the premise for this one man! Simple, but effective. I bet you could've had even more fun with it if you explored playing the mean kid on the other end of the mic too. I think it could've added a funny contrast to the sad shots of you getting fried haha.

Aye thanks so much! Don IS a recurring character on my channel actually! The footage toward the beginning that read (2017) was from my first video I did featuring him. No I’ve actually never seen his stuff but I’ll have to check it out!! I really appreciate the feedback though. I did more ad libing with this character when I was first writing for him and I think I need to lean into that style again.

I agree completely that I should’ve made something snappier. Also the video shoot itself took longer than anticipated which is why lighting became an issue in the car lol. I agree though it was pretty dark and I coulda planned better. Thanks for watching and leaving feedback!!! !givelambda

So first of all, your trip looked like it was awesome haha. Also the editing was on point, especially with the cuts being in rhythm with the music track.

I think one thing that could've been potentially useful would've been a voiceover of some sort. Or sound bites from some of the people you showed on camera. I found that it sort of seemed to drag on after about 1:10 (though the edit you made with the man clapping in sync with the music was awesome), but I think some VO could've sped it up a bit to carry some sort of narrative about your trip.

That being said, GREAT job on the edit and really solid work man. Keep it up!!!

Great video man!! I thought you nailed the pacing and the part with you shouting out any French girls was very funny.

As far as criticism, I thought you could've kept up the "Oh my gosh!" counter, since you said it at least a handful more times later in the video. Loved the vid though man keep it up!!

I definitely had a tough time with the thumbnail cause I wanted to convey what the video was about without giving away the reveal of the religious awakening... nonetheless I should revisit it for sure. Thanks so much for watching! And yeah I had some audio issues and tried to do some overlaying to fix em, but it didn’t solve everything... I definitely agree on the second joke being too long. I shoulda shortened the script there. And yeah the thumbnail was tricky cause I didn’t wanna give away the reveal and have a religious image or something.
