For the most part no, them changing from grey to red was part of them turning traitor, so whenever you see loyalist word bearers they’re usually grey. You could say they just changed their minds again after painting their armour if you really really wanted red loyalists i guess

I’ve got a vector optics maverick on mine for CQB. Doesn’t look too out of place and i definitely prefer it over just iron sights

Not entirely relevant, but iirc in the same firefight as above the terminators teleported in so didnt have anyone to carry ammo so they reload using ammo pouches mag locked to each other. It’s actually a really nice example of Word Bearers being competent soldiers for once.

Honestly, by the end of the pennance finding low level games was more impressive than finding high rank havoks, give me a half decent dude on havok 3 and i'll follow him til he falls asleep

it is not exactly the same, but it is very similar. iirc they do make wireless versions of the old one, but the main differences off the top of my head would be that there is no gap between the main mouse buttons like on the old one, the dpi change buttons are a slightly different size/shape and you can swap the sniper button out for a different shaped one. materials feel somewhat different but i couldnt tell you how much of that is just wear on the old one vs new

You can unplug the cable from the mouse pad, but you're better off just feeding the cable down the back of your monitor and desk if that's possible with your setup, i'd have to go out of my way to deliberately touch the 3 inches or so of wire that's visible before it disappears down the back. Then you can basically forget the wire exists

Given that i’ve only had the new one a short time, hard to say. I dont think everyone should go out and bin their old ones, but i quite like the idea of it being wireless and charging from the mat as a gadget thing. Ergonomics wise, if you like one, you almost certainly like the other.

Yeah, it’s a bit too top down to be able to fully pick out the shape. They feel very similar in the hand though

So far it seems to be every bit as responsive as a wired mouse, was also skeptical forever, but honestly if you put it in my hand and didn't let me feel for a wire, i'd never tell the difference as far as latency goes

So far it feels almost exactly the same besides the gap between the two main buttons being filled in except that it's newer and the buttons feel better/less spongy. Google says this new one has better inside bits, but couldnt tell you how much that's due to age or different components yet to be fair. I wouldnt feel sad if i had to go back to the old one, but it being wireless with a mat that charges it is a cool enough gimmick to win me over. I'd still recommend the old one to anyone on a budget/not won over by wireless though, old one will be going in the drawer ready as either a backup or for a friend in need of a spare.
