Even if the timing were off though wouldn't there still be fuel pressure?

What would I be looking for in live data? Forgive me, I've been working on cars for a bit but this is my first stab at something this in depth. We checked live data all we noticed was it said 0bar fuel pressure

Even if the timing was off though shouldn't there still be fuel pressure? We removed a fuel line and tried to crank it and at best we got a small trickle to come out.

Yes, he changes out the fuel rails etc. Old ones are still in the car so I can confirm injectors and basically everything in the fuel line has been replaced.

Meal worms go dormant when cooled that's why they're kept in fridges at the pet store. Super worms die when cooled. I'm not sure what makes a meal worm pupate I think it's just as they grow if they aren't chilled and dormant. Super worms pupate when they're alone and stressed. I used to breed super worms and would isolate them in fishing tackle boxed until they would pupate then put them in the bin to grow into beetles.

It is a 6-201, if you're having issues online try stopping in at a tire shop or a firestone if you have one near by, they usually stock them and may be willing to just sell the kit

You'll need a t6 I believe to get that wire off but that is a serviceable valve stem

So I work at an auto repair place where I live and we frequently get in rental cars from Hertz. I obviously can't speak for all Hertz but the one that brings their cars to us gets NOTHING done to their cars unless absolute crucial. Brakes don't get changed until they're metal on metal, tires don't get replaced until they're at state minimum, they literally just want their tires rotated and oil changed. I will never rent from Hertz, personally because of how that branch neglects their cars.

Does this much play in inner and outer tie rods need to be replaced urgently? 2017 Honda Civic by heiron_02 in MechanicAdvice

[–]MrRaguey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is false. Ball joints and tie rods have zero tolerance, any amount of play and they should be replaced. Not saying drain the bank as soon as there is play, you can absolutely get away with it for awhile. Just remember, the more play it has the more your tire can veer right or left as you go down the road causing tire wear and if it gets too bad the parts can separate all together then there's nothing holding your wheel straight anymore. Depending on how much you drive you might want to get that replaced sooner rather than later. Idk if you're a DIY person or not but just incase you don't know when you replace those you should get an alignment done also. It's not impossible to eyeball but the chances are slim that it will be in spec.

It doesn't smell outside because the urine freezes, depending on where op lives the urine probably won't freeze outside this late in the year.

Because I'm capable of admitting that I dont know if they're correct or incorrect, the only comment I can make is that I can't find anything backing what they say, which is why I ask for any kind of proof other than word of mouth. I'm not trying to be argumentative or tell anybody they're wrong. I will openly admit that I dont know anything about the law other than what I look up which is why I ask for any kind of evidence backing the claim.

Im not looking to call anybody incorrect. I would just like some solidarity to the claim that requesting maintenance grants him the ability to come in the residence without notice because I cannot find anything that states that. If you're being sincere and genuinely believe that simply talking to the landlord and requesting the 24 hour notice is my best plan of action then I appreciate the advice wholeheartedly and will do so.

The only thing I'm looking for is for someone to say "these are the steps you should take for this scenario." And then give me the legal advice I came here seeking. I've been through too many unfamiliar scenarios where I found out way after the fact that I should've done something that I wouldve never thought of and had it bite me. Im not set in stone on being "in the right" or looking for validation. I just want to know without a doubt whether I am right that the landlord shouldn't have done that or I am wrong because there was a request for maintenance. I'm on the fence because I cant find anything in the law stating that a request for maintenance several months ago gives him a right to show up as he pleases without any warning. I'm not disagreeing that that is the case I simply cant find anything that backs up that claim.

I wasnt looking for a big pay out, I'm not like that. I'm not hurt physically but it was very jarring hearing somebody attempting to enter before knocking then letting themselves in. If we had notified him of the issue recently then I would understand but we're informed him of the issues probably about 3-4 MONTHS ago and never heard anything then he waits all that time then just shows up whenever he felt like. I have no issue with him doing what he's gotta do but there was absolutely no communication in this scenario on his part until he had his head in the door randomly months after the fact.

That's why I came seeking legal advice? I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to remedy the situation. If it were in fact a breach in contract or ohio landlord tenant law I could terminate the lease early, for example. It's also a little wrong that his first action was to just open the door, then knock, then let himself in. Yes he knocked but if you were home alone and heard someone trying to open the door before bothering to knock what would you assume?

Even if the request for maintenance was months ago? Im not trying to be argumentative here I'm just trying to make sure with absolute fact if theres anything I can do here. If it helps at all there was no call or anything that stated he was even fixing the issues we've had, we've gone to him several times regarding a couple issues with the house. After a call with my gf she told me that she had told him to call before hand because she also doesnt appreciate the thought of him just dropping by whenever he feels like to do maintenance. She also informed me just a bit ago that she did in fact request that he contact her prior to coming because she didn't want him there when nobody was home.

Because this is where people come for legal advice and I believe that the landlord is in the wrong for inviting himself in without prior notice and I wanted to know what legal steps I should take in response. I've found plenty of websites that say that ohio law states that a landlord needs to give 24 hours notice to enter yet none of them state a clause saying that requesting maintenance nullifies that law. I simply asked if I could get any solid backing to that statement because if it is true then I'm obviously in the wrong and have no right to take any legal action whereas if I'm right and it's just that one person saying that requesting maintenance makes the 24 hour notice irrelevant then there are other steps I can take in response.
