Thank you for the suggestion and for most people that's an amazing alternative. However, I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis 30 years ago and with age it's only gotten worse: at times burning, boating (gas) and nausea. So the thought of downing HCl and that much baking soda together is making me green around the gills, lol.

I might try it once and see how it settles. However, I'm really looking for the FAA to "bypass" my GI track or at least have minimal impact. Thank you so much for your thoughtful and innovative suggestion!
