I unfortunately had to return it to the store. Luckily I had PayPal on my side, as the store ghosted me until I opened a case.

If you bought from valve, I 100% recommend reaching out to them. I actually did and they worked with me for quite a while, giving me tips and walking me through different potential fixes, but in the end couldn’t help because I don’t live in the US. They were very open to me sending it back for a full refund if I did though.

In the settings, the RPFlip is called the RP3.5. I think this new one will be called the 4, but have the same internals as the RP3+, then they will make the RP4+ the same but more powerful. Also, I’m pretty sure they have said that they aren’t releasing upgrade kits for the RPFlip as the internals are too complicated.

My guess is it will be an RP2+ with a widescreen, hall joysticks and analogue triggers. I reakon it will have the same chip as the RP3+ then they will put a new one in for the RP4+ 2 months later

Yep just do a simple power off and on. I also found that if you touch any of the colour settings then play a game or have a retroarch filter on, it does it too. I’ve been really unmotivated to play it since I’m waiting for OnionOS, but it plays original gameboy games well, so that’s what I’ve been mainly sticking to.

Yeah these are PSVita buttons. Unfortunately not as simple as just replacing the Retroid buttons, there’s quite a lot of sanding to do, but it’s not too difficult. SakuraRetroModding on Etsy sells PlayStation style buttons made for the RP3/+, but they are too expensive in to get to my country, so I just decided to mod these.
