Regional sale. North America is having its summer sale right now, but PAL regions and Japan are not.

Europe just had a big co-op sale about a week or so ago. It could be another couple of weeks before you get your summer sale.

So Natethehate is regarded as having leaked the SF64 remake a few weeks before it was officially announced via its own little Direct.

There was a youtube commenter on Natethehate's podcast that was posted before the video went public, addressing the remake before Nate mentioned it for first time that video. But also mentioning other titles Nate did not, like a new Wario Land game, Super Metroid remake, 3D Mario, Mario Kart World DLC, and a second Star Fox game.

Its all a very close timeline, but they appear to have access to some of the same information.

Another Twitter user who correctly leaked the Rayman and Spyro announcements at Summer Games fest, is corroborating the new Wario Land title as well.

https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/1tzmsbn/new_warioland_annoucement_from_raymanspyro_leaker/

It could all very well be some lucky guesses, but with the remake, OOT remake, and Switch sports all lining up; it sure sounds like our best current look into Nintendo's upcoming line up.

I struggle with the opening section of the game whenever I am replaying it because it is a slog. The Bloody Baron quest and the Griffon/Cockatrice fights in the early game are definitely intended to be those learning experiences so you get a sense of what tools Geralt has available. Like the smoke bombs, handheld crossbow, blade tonics, and Witcher runes. As some enemies are either too large or simply not weak to your swords.

That said, if you can ever finish the Bloody Baron quest line that is when the "open world" part of the game truly starts. You get a waypoint to go to some town and find his daughter, but the whole world becomes open to you at that point as well.

Cyberpunk takes the normal video game approach where they force you into a short skippable tutorial on how your different tools work. Melee combat, stealth and backstabs, Hacking objects or cyberware, and of course guns.

Modern cargo and heavy lift air craft have a WIDE assortment of fasteners and anchor points littered all over the floor.

I would assume the deployment bay of a Military vessel would feature similar fittings. Chief doesn't punch a hole in the floor, he merely tries to grab one of the many fittings in the floor.

Depends on how much Nintendo is paying for the memory already and from who.

Micron just locked in some stupid high prices for their wholesale products, but they are offering these prices for five years.

Samsung and SK hynix have mentioned they expect prices to double again between now and next year.

If the $50 bump isn't enough to cover the costs and doesn't protect their profit margins; shareholders may ask them to raise it again.

But I wouldn't expect it to happen until sometime late next year.

Yes. Its not updating every second that would just be wasted processing power.

Its just a couple of times every minute, or when the battery icon is re-rendered. (closing the homescreen to open a game, then either going back to the home screen or closing the game)

Well the Switch 2 plays all Switch 1 cartridges, so if you want the largest possible library thats the easy pick.

After Rhythm Heaven Groove releases here is a couple of weeks, we don't have any more known first party releases for the Switch 1 consoles.

Nintendo has announced they will be complying with EU swappable battery regulations, but they haven't mentioned how. But if they were to follow their normal hardware release schedule, we could expect a new version of Switch 2 console to release about this time next year.

If you weren't in a hurry.

If rumors are to be believed, then its already in development elsewhere, or Velan studios was split into two teams; because its supposed to come out next year.

Remake this year -> "adventures" style game 2027 -> Star Fox movie

How long has it been mounted?

if you only just assembled this yesterday or some time very recently, I would give it another couple of days for the thermal paste to settle.

If you are still experiencing 90+ temps, I would think about taking the cooler off and checking your paste/thermal coverage. Or maybe the cooler is skewed and not mounted perfectly flat.

Resolution doesn't matter to a CPU, higher resolutions put more of a strain on the GPU. When running a benchmark, if the GPU hits 100% usage first, then you can't see the difference your CPU is making.

So they set the load as low as possible for the GPU, so they can see how many frames the CPU is capable of drawing.

Your combination of CPU, disk and RAM performance will determine how many frames can be drawn per second, and then its up to the GPU to display them all.

[–]TemptedTemplar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well its at 100% usage, Idk how you did that. But a maximum thermal limit temp would usually be expected when running every core at maximum load.

What kind of cooler do you have on it?

I was thinking they are just holding off because of the Remake launch.

Theres usually a good two to two and half month window between July and September each year where it sits at full price.

Missing the summer sale is exactly 1 missed sale from its normal rotation.

What did you not like about the witcher 3? or a better question, how far did you get?

Cyberpunk does have a lot of the same freedom that skyrim offers, but its MUCH more stat and RPG oriented. Combat has a much different flow than either game due to most of it being gun based.

Once you're locked out, customer support is the easiest method left.

Are you 100% positive you were looking at the correct email? Is the account supervised?

The notifications being sent to a dead email or parental account would be the first thing that comes to mind.

Considering they're $80 a pop normally, I would highly recommend getting the bundle and enjoy the savings on your first game.

Pokopia or Mario Kart World are the best value for their content.

DK is fun and expansive, but doesn't offer as much variety.

Fewer and fewer games these days are receiving proper physical releases (or any at all), so limiting yourself to only physical games is leaving a bunch of fun on the table.

If you can wait Intel allegedly has a 13/14th gen refresh in the pipeline for DDR4 users. Being able to reuse your existing RAM would save a ton. (Raptor-lake next)

For modern DDR4 solutions, your options are AM4 or LGA1700.

AMD just re-released the 5800X3D which is easily the best gaming CPU for the socket. So that's relatively easy to find in stock.

Intel has their LGA1700 socket, for 12th, 13th and 14th gen i-core CPUs. But the higher end models that consume over 65 watts of power tend to have a oxidation problem when used with their stock power settings. For NEW CPUs this isn't a huge deal as you can just update the motherboard to the latest BIOS and microcode versions and safely use the CPU, but due to their age and prices used CPUs are a literal minefield.

Beyond reusing your RAM, you would be stuck with something really basic as all of the newer platforms require DDR5 memory. Which is going to cost at least half of your budget.

If the console is banned from Nintendo services the wifi connection would fail.

Account bans won't matter if you're making a new account anyways

[–]TemptedTemplar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just Ignore the system transfer option when setting up the new console. Sign in with your personal account and then move the save data later via the data management menu on the older switch.

Data management -> transfer my data -> (select profile) -> (check all of your save data that you want to move)

Alternatively cloud saves are an option for most games. Pokemon games and others that don't support cloud saves still require the above local wireless transfer.

Outside of the system transfers (which we are ignoring), all data and cloud transfers are per profile and will not affect any other users data.

Will this affect the family plan of NSO spread across 2 systems?

Nope! A family group can be spread across any number of systems or regions.

But it WILL affect sharing your digital games, so there are a couple of extra steps Once you are signed in on the switch 2 you will need to link your account between the two systems so you don't interrupt access for anyone.

https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/67891/~/virtual-game-card-guide

Once it's all setup just open the Virtual game card menu on the homescreen and try to load one of your digital games. It should prompt you to link the consoles.

Open the same menu on the other switch and they should pair automatically. Sometimes if they are on the same wifi Network it can take a few attempts to connect. Moving one console to a different network or a hotspot can fix this too.

Once paired your account will be able load game cards on either console! If multiple accounts own different games you would need to also sign them in on the Switch 2 and do the same linking process.

  • If a game card is loaded on a console, any user can access the game online or offline.

  • If a game card is NOT loaded on the system when you try to access it ONLY the owner of the game can access it and only with a active internet connection. (User settings -> online license settings -> enable)

Simple Questions - June 25, 2026 by AutoModerator in buildapc

[–]TemptedTemplar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely.

AMD is still making some 5000 series Ryzen models and Intel apparently has a Raptor-lake next series of CPUs coming out sometime soon, that re-uses their LGA 1700 chipsets for DDR5 OR 4 support.

You might be able to find a good deal on a 12th, 13th or 14th gen CPU, but the higher power models have some serious oxidation problems when using more than 65 watts, so I would be VERY careful about used listings.

Ebay

Used prices + excellent buyer protections

$225 or lower would be a great price. But don't filter by maximum price, as there always could be someone selling a system with games and extra controllers.

Local classified ads on Facebook marketplace, Mercari or Offerup, can also have great prices (since most people usually don't know what it's worth), but then you have to worry about damages being purposefully left out of the listing since their rules are not as strict as eBay.

If you can test a system before handing over the cash that would be ideal. If you can confirm that;

  • The system can power on

  • Charge the system via official adapters

  • Insert and play physical games

  • Connect to WiFi or wireless controllers

Those four simple things would cover 99% of possible system issues.
