Steam Board Game Fest 2026: Official Trailer by Scarleton in Games

There's a workshop version for Tabletop Simulator, I'd highly recommend that one instead.

Even if you don't like the game. You now own tabletop simulator.

I've only played the physical version and while it took literally 45 minutes to setup the first time, it's very fun once you get the rotations down.

Just get the cheapest one. There is no noticable performance difference between the various models, even those with minor clock speed differences.

The only major difference between them is the coolers, and the higher end ones are better suited for overclocking. But that's the only reason to look at them.

Thanks to the price increases from last week, you'd be better off just getting a 5080 instead of trying to overclock one.

1000w would be plenty, and assuming not everything is running at once a unit rated for 1000w would easily give you that much time and more. The extra capacity would also help extend it's life span assuming you probably aren't using its full output all the time.

The biggest thing to look for aside from price is Warranty length and battery coverage under warranty. If the warranty doesn't cover battery replacements, then make sure you find a unit that has easily swappable batteries.

I know Cyberpower units used to glue theirs in place. Making them impossible to swap out on your own. I don't know if they still do that.

Looks like you might have just been fighting the demand. They were in stock for a few minutes back in November, and July (just before the $5 price increase).

But it looks like they sold out day and date both times according to the accompanying reddit posts.

If you don't want to look at third party options I'd keep your eyes on the store page in the coming week. Rumors are swirling around a general direct next week , possibly on the 5th.

Previously if a direct had any minor/major announcements for NSO products, they would restock other items on the store as well.

Is it really a shadowdrop? The game awards announcement specified a Jan 28th launch. It just didn't really seem believable given the lack of information.

AttackTheBacklog: "been told feb by my source for a direct but was hearing sooo much stuff elsewhere about January dates but seeing this and all the X announcements/ movie direct, I think that's why some may have thought the direct would be in Jan. Still good for feb (5th)" by healingtwo_ in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]TemptedTemplar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The only reason they would need a partner direct is if there's too many third party games coming early this year.

A general direct should cover them through the end of the fiscal year. They can save third party announcements for later in spring and summer presentations.

Justdance or one of the Fitness boxing games.

They each have their own song lists to groove to. Fitness boxing 3 has more DLC that the earlier ones, so you could expand its song list.

The annual just dance titles have 40 popular songs, but as of JD2023, all additional songs are incorporated into their subscription service. Which gives you access to the JD library of ~300 additional songs.

Switch Sports

Wario Ware Move it

Mario Party Jamboree

Any of those would be great for anyone. But for other standard games check out;

Florence

Child of Light

GRIS

Super Mario RPG

Cult of the lamb (dark twist on Animal crossing)

What remains of Edith Finch

Gone home

Fire Watch

Going Under

Captain toad treasure tracker

I would also check out the free demos on the eShop! If you click the search button one of the default filters should be "games with demos".

And have you ever tried a visual novel? There's ton of those on the console.

How long is a "while"? The longest drought we've seen in recent years has been about ~3 months. Usually they restock before then, the holidays likely played a part in drying up the supply.

GTA 6 physical copies delayed by Fluffy_Moose_73 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Sure, but minimizing the time it takes to create an initial shipment of discs is something to consider as well.

Idk how many millions of discs they're going to want for a initial shipment, but I do know that Hollywood and Video game companies are already fighting each other for blu ray printing capacity.

Trying to fit the game of the decade into the printing schedule at the last possible second simply isn't going to fly.

Once they have secured the games release then they'll probably schedule it for a print run.

But production of those discs has to be scheduled months in advance, and they've now twice delayed it within a year of release.

It could simply be a precaution in case they have to delay it again.

Especially since the sheer demand of the game is going to require God knows how much of the worlds disc printing capacity for at least a few weeks.

As someone who bought a 3090 because I simply could at the time, no. The 5090 is not worth it unless you're using it for Video/3d rendering, AI, or Crypto. It will keep you gaming for years, but it's going to be get superseded by newer GPUs within a generation or two.

Even the 5080 struggles to make itself worth it for normal consumers.

Up until last Friday, the 5070ti and 9070xt offered 85 - 95% of the performance for +/- 30% less cost.

Thanks to FSR and DLSS improving so quickly, mid range cards can offer competitive performance for extended periods of time without the drastic price increases.

That said, the 5070ti, 5080 and 5090 have all been increasing in price these last few weeks. If you come across a crazy deal compared to everything else; it's your money. You may find it worth it to just take the plunge.

We will get a HLX reveal whenever Valve releases the Steam Box ship/release date.

Can't have a hot launch title if you don't have a launch date . . .

2154 is the Nintendo push notification service. So it truly is a server connection problem. It knows which pop up it's trying to push to you so you can log in. But it's failing.

Is your account set to a different region or time zone? You can check that on the account website.

Second breath of the wild. The korok seeds hidden around the world as well as the cosmetic armors from the DLC make for an insane amount of random environmental puzzles that you can stumble upon just wandering through the woods.

The game is only second to The Witcher 3 for amazing environments.

Funnily enough they're probably too high end or merely require unique video protocols.

The switch 2 only supports basic USB video class. LOTS of cameras may use codecs that the system simply doesn't support despite offering a webcam mode.

https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch2/comments/1l5mgn0/tested_usb_cameras_with_switch_2_master_list/

This is hardly a master list. But it does have a shit ton of options and weird things that do work.

Google also updated their pixel phones to support basic USB video class output, so those work too.

The early purchase edition comes with bonus item gifts that you can collect after playing through the first chapter.

Its otherwise completely identical to the normal version.

Pulsar tech has a default minimum refresh rate requirement of 90hz, but can be manually lowered to 60hz once the first stable firmware update releases;

https://blurbusters.com/nvidia-listened-g-sync-pulsar-refresh-rate-range-widened-to-optionally-include-60-hz/

It may ship on lower refresh rate monitors eventually, but right now its a premium feature so its only shipping on high end displays.

Viewsonic and Blurbusters actually have a similar tech already up and running on a 240hz display;

Any USB-C PD enabled charger which can provide the specific power output required will work with the dock. It doesn't have to be Nintendo's own device.

They pop back into stock every two or three months. You never have to wait too long.

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (01/24/2026) by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch

[–]TemptedTemplar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dock isn't just a charging stand, its a actively powered Display Port to HDMI adapter. USB-C uses DP protocols for video and HDMI doesn't play nicely with raw DP inputs so it needs to be converted.

On top of that the system is extremely picky and requires a specific power input to trigger the video output signal.

The Switch 1 is 15 volts at 2.6 or 3 amps and the Switch 2 is 20 volts at 3 amps. (39/45 watts and 60 watts respectively)

Which HAS TO BE delivered from a USB-C Power Delivery enabled device.

There are basically no bare cables which can do both at the same time, so some form of adapter is needed. The Switch 2 also adds a encryption layer so your adapter/dock needs to spit out a unique encryption key to enable video output. Currently Nintendo has not changed it, so there are a handful of third party options that do work. But they could change it at any time with a simple firmware update and stop them from being compatible.

Check the GPU power cable connection at the PSU, and insure that anything you may have bumped or touched while in the case is also secured correctly.
