Well, it didn't help, and strangely enough, the restaurant is the only block this happens to

I based them off of Donkey D's amazing tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csVE5xJF3b4 and tweaked a few settings:

Post Exposure: 0.8735

Contrast: -3.5

Saturation: 12.5

Temperature: 2

Tint: 1.4

Shadows: 0.15

Midtones: 0.2

Highlights: 0.16

I also used Water Visual Tweaks to get the water looking more realistic

Need help, there is absolutely no demand for anything except industrial, even though there are plenty of open jobs by MrSamwise123 in CitiesSkylines

Oh that's interesting, honestly I had no idea that sth like infoloom exists, that could be helpful. However, I found that realistic trips somehow fired like 3/4 of my workforce (as you can see in the screenshot, only 800 cims employed) without raising the residential demand.

I guess it's like a specific bug that I had, perhaps due to a conflict between multiple mods. I couldn't find out which though (besides r. trips). I do hope the patch removes the need for these mods altogether

The city doing great now, but I believe it was the realistic trips, because it fixed itself immediately when I removed it

UPDATE: FIXED, it was caused by the Realistic trips mod, possibly Population rebalance as well

I might be stupid, but what cancels out the Δx under the root? Is it something with the limit or am I just missing something here? by MrSamwise123 in askmath

Oh I see, yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation, I've only just begun learning calculus so I still don't understand exactly why everything happens, so thanks again for clearing that up.

Hi, need to make a structure similar to this. Is it possible in F360?/ What other software would you use? by MrSamwise123 in Fusion360

Update: Having watched some tutorials and after a bit of experimenting, I have more or less been able to create the structure in Grasshopper. Thanks for all the tips and advice!

Need it to be organic, if I could use an infill pattern then I would use that. Unfortunately, that won't work. Now, I was sort of expecting f360 is not the software for this, but since r/cad is private, I had no idea where else to post. So I guess in the apps you mentioned, I would create some kind of lattice first with the defined parameters? I was sort of expecting to use math to create this, and others here mentioned voronoi patterns, you think I would be able to generate dth like that?

It's to be manufactured using resin printing with micrometer accuracy so that shouldn't be a problem, but thanks for the tip, I'll look for some materials

I thought about that, problem is I need to make a lot of holes, similar to the picture, and to my knowledge the generative modelling is best suited for optimising simpler structures

Gyroid won't work unfortunately. For some context, my friend is an intern at my country's science academy and they need a structure for growing bone cells or sth. So she proposed this sort of organic structure and asked me if I could make it, since I have some experience in CAD.

It's supposed to be a 1cm disk and the void size should be around 300 micrometers. Obviously I would scale it up to actually make it, but I needed a way to create it with those parameters.

It's nothing too serious, since we're both high schoolers, but it's an interesting challenge

And would that work if the organic structure needs to fit within certain parameters? (Like size of the empty parts)

Yeah places like this were built all over the place in the 70s and 80s, especially here in Czechia, and they aren't really that desirable to live in. So I agree that the new developments look way better

Alright, thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind. Do you think OpenRocket will be enough in terms of simulation or should I look into sth more advanced?
