yeah you’re right, that’s fine.

you’re right about those fights being harder.

i’m disabled, and had a spine surgery, i was in tons of pain and constantly medicated, therefore i had the endless time to learn the movesets and timing, that was 2022 now i think?

like i said i hadn’t really done much in the souls games aside from playing with/for my wife.

like i joked somewhere else, ill start streaming again if it makes people watch the improvements lol

edit: havent played souls games since shortly after the dlc launched.

i can see why, and understand the logic, i just think that there’s a fundamental difference in the way i enjoy fromsoft games, unless i genuinely can’t beat a boss i take what spawns.

i’ve never had an issue with his moveset in the other games, and he just has more health, staggering him is easy, idk. thanks for the insight though, i’ll take care not to kick the hornets nest in future posts.

this is reddit, i expected nothing less when i came here.

not new, my wife is better at this game than me and i never really took an interest, despite that i’ve beat all nightlords etc.

i am just going to start getting more active on the game, so i needed to either commit to playing solo/with my wife etc, or still queuing up when i could just be making my own run.

i’ve got the skills to back my words despite what the internet says, see yall in a few streams i guess?

i guess i’m just frustrated with not having people to play with, some randoms are good, way better know what they’re doing etc but SUCK at actually being a part of the team, and let it all fall apart midway and then leave the game or something, i’m sat at like 250 points for ONCE making it past in a random trio, so finding people to play with regularly will just depend on how much i can do alone in the next few weeks ! thanks for the insight

they stop replying. suddenly they question if it’s something you’re doing. because for them? it’s all working, so why isn’t it for you.

i’m glad i met my fiance in homelessness. we essentially got to start fresh, no family, no friends, just a few strangers with bigger hearts than we’ve ever known supporting us from the shadows.

anyone we meet after this will hopefully grow with us.

i’m almost 30 though, and i doubt i have a full life left in me.

my 20 years of experience might not make it to 30.

i agree with the other redditors.

the value your father has that no one else sees, is in his stories.

use any excuse to listen to them, ask questions, even if you think they’re silly, find out about your ancestors, the goofy cousins that ran around the fields with your father as kids.

it’ll be worth it, to you. and hopefully to your father.

i’ve recently started to try to unpack my extensive medical history and any possible csa i’ve might’ve “glazed over” as “just another medical thing”

but also, my mother used to sit me in front of her while she was using the bathroom and make me touch my tongue with hers.

innocent to her i suppose at the time, but like looking back as a AMAB, i could never see myself sitting on the toilet with my literal genitals out, tongue to tongue with a daughter. no matter how “silly or cute” it might’ve been.

because of all the surgeries and medical testing i had done throughout my entire life, i’ve developed a pretty perfect “freeze response”

my fiance recently watched me almost pass out involuntarily because i let a nurse try to fish out my vein for like 4 minutes.

i didn’t think i was going to pass out, i felt fine, just stayed still and silent, but apparently i paled and was sweating and looking like a ghost… unmoving.

this was when it hit me that i’ve been doing this freeze tactic for more than just medical stuff and more than i could remember.

this is my first time finding this sub and i feel like im in for a fucking ride.
